My wife and I have been burning through Psych on Prime. It's a fun show.

I've used "It's so bad it's good" to justify continue watching.

LOL....One episode had a fake cold open that was actually an extended preview for some dinosaur show, either series or new Jurassic park.  And I thought "wait a minute, how the fuck do they have dinosaurs in this now?!?"

I really liked the pilot for Mayor of Kingstown. The first two episodes are out on Paramount Network (CBS)

I liked both episodes.  Will probably binge when Season 1 is over.  Not sure exactly where the show is going or what it's trying to be.  Feels like they mashed together a lot of concepts from other shows (The Shield, Sopranos, The Wire).  We'll see how that goes.

Invasion-  7.5/10  good alien show. Reminds me of the recent War of the Worlds

Hanna season 3 --8/10

Wu tang Chronicles-9/10

It’s a sneaky depressing to watch show. Episode three especially.

Top 5 all time show for me. Probably watch it through at least once a year.

TV picked up the last few weeks.

Succession ended a few weeks ago and was epic.

Currently watching:

-Yellowjackets on Showtime: Female Lord of Flies meets Lost. Awesome show so far.

-Hawkeye: Had low expectations, but is fun.

-The Expanse: Final season started earlier this month.

-Station Eleven: Based on the book from some years ago. Post Pandemic society 20 years later. It may be one of the best shows of the year.

Book of Boba Fett is next week and am excited to see where that goes.

Also, not sure if anyone has checked out the Beatles Get Back doc on Disney +, but it may one of the best music documentaries I have ever seen.

Didn't realize this was the final season. Looking forward to see how they wrap it up.

Did you pay up for Peacock to watch? I have S2-current DVRd, but can't get S1 for free anywhere.

I paid $18, I think, thru Amazon Prime just for the new season of Yellowstone.  Probably cheaper just to binge the entire season and only subscribe for one month.

Between all the propping up of coming spinoffs and some other stuff, it's starting to feel like it's jumped the shark already.

And screw NBC for moving new/best shows to not one but TWO different subscription services.

Yellowstone is super weird. Cause Peacock has the streaming rights, but Paramount has the first run/cable rights. And Paramount+ (CBS) has nothing.

Anyway, I have Paramount as a channel, so I have it all DVRd as well as the new spinoff 1883. But didn’t have the channel when S1 aired and they are insanely stingy on re-airs.

Will probably pay Peacock for a month and get thru S1, then call it a day and use the Paramount DVRd episodes.

Yeah, same. There is a lot of tie up and so far it is fine. Not great, but not awful either.

Yeah, that has been one of my barriers for the show. It's a pain to figure out where it is.

I've seen a little bit of it, and it's fine. I am just watching other stuff and don't have the time to catch up. But, I see the appeal.

Finale of Hawkeye yesterday was actually fun and not too bad. They may actually bringing in some old tv characters.

I'd probably put Hawkeye 2nd in terms of Disney + Marvel shows. It is behind Loki and ahead of Wandavision with Falcon and the Winter Soldier way last.

They've brought in 2 from the Netflix shows so far.

Yup. Hopefully that spins off into a new version of the series or gets folded in an existing one. Still awesome to see.

They announced Daredevil already would be joining the universe. Same actor from Netflix. D’Onofrio would seemingly match up opposite him.

Well, if you've watched the new Spiderman.....

Also, they could totally do a Yelena spinoff.

No I know, and no I haven’t. I just mean they signed him on for a decent amount, so it can really only mean a stand-alone movie for him.
