Something made for the trail with the nubs on the bottom for traction, but I could also use to walk around on pavement for long periods. I only want to bring two pairs of shoes, the trail runners and something casual for "going out."

Saucony Peregrine 7 is what I'm looking at.

That looks like a solid shoe. I doubt you'll have any problems with it.

Fit was poor. They crushed my toes, but other than that they were awesome. Now trying Altra bc wide toe box.

Got put on a last minute trip to Paris to work French Open. NBC only has coverage on the weekends, so I have a bunch of days off in Paris.

Went to the Louvre today...actually inside. Holy Hell that place sucks. WAY to crowded, hot and the stupid audio guides rely on shitty WiFi, so they never match up with what you’re looking at.

Anyway, everything else I’ve done so far has been awesome, but the Louvre pissed me off. Anyone else on here been before? And any other suggestions as must do for Paris? I’ve got another 4 days free before I leave June 11th.

Is that the church overlooking the city? I think I did that last summer. Wouldn’t mind going back though.

Hitting up Museé d’Orsey tomorrow, for the first time. Pretty excited about that. Can’t beleive I’ve put it off until now.

I’m in RDU tonight. The Marriott concierge lounge is stocked with delicious eats.

Have been in Denver for a few days. RMNP was beautiful. It’s awesome to walk around in the snow when it’s 80 degrees. Hitting Red Rocks tomorrow.

Just got back from a week in the DC-area (work-related) and will be headed to Punta Cana in a week. I am very much looking forward to this trip.

Wife an I returned from a one week trip to Washington DC over Memorial Day

Average walking step was 12,000 per day over the seven day stay, on Saturday 23,000 steps.

Personal tour of the Capital both Congress and Senate, thank to both offices for providing wife and I  with one of their staff members for the tour.

Could not get to the WhiteHouse tour this time ... next year for sure..

Tried to book Catacombs, but they are closed due to protests! So pissed. Done Versailles twice, but might go again. That place is just unreal.

In Cbus last week; played Tartan Fields Golf Club in Dublin on Wednesday, hit the Memorial Tournament Thursday.  Hyde Park steakhouse beside the Embassy Suites a real plus.

Because of my retarded job, vacationing is difficult for me.  With that said, I get one weekend off a month and I am hoping to do a 4 day weekend in St Louis and Kansas City.  Just trying to see a couple more ballparks.

Also you owe me five Meth Gary days, and I won't forget it.

Puerto Rico is fun and super cheap. No great recommendations because the majority of the time I just drank and chilled on the beach (Condado).

We did hike El Yunque at dawn, that was awesome. Go very early though, place gets rammed with tourists.

Heading to Pigeon Forge for a week at the end of the month for the boy's baseball tournament. Should be an interesting week with the Cal Ripken Experience.

Just got back from Punta Cana. Anyone that's been, did you have to deal with massive piles of seaweed on the beach?

Not on the beach, but there was a ton of seaweed in the water near the shore when I was there. This was over 15 years ago. I assume it's a time of the year thing.

Heard this was a problem when we went, but didn't see much. I think it is where Punta Cana is located and I think it is worse in June.

I'm trying to book a week in August to a driveable beach destination, but haven't booked anything yet. Not many options with a 6 month old.

There were piles taller than my wife. It was a sight to see. We didn't end up spending any time on the beach, we would just wander down every couple days and watch them cleaning up the piles.
