I did a trip too, South Dakota for a camp.
It was a nice trip. Airline and airport was pretty smooth operating. I would do it again.

I have to book a trip to Chicago (Drake or Palmer) before 4/21/21. Given the current situation, what would be your recommendations on date/time of year?
Going to Manitou Springs and Gardens of the Gods Friday. Doing a booze float on South Platte River Saturday,
After 3 months of doing fuckall, freedom feels NICE!
We're considering an all-inclusive trip to Mexico at the end of July.

Summer or early fall. Not the winter, unless you come for the Christmas stuff. Spring is a bit cold as well, and unpredictable with the weather.
The EU just recently opened up, but we mostly have been exploring southern Italy. We explored a lot of the Puglia region. For those who want to go to Italy (first time or again), I highly recommend exploring Puglia. It is pretty much the Tuscany and the south and I might even venture to say it is better than Tuscany.
I have some Delta credit I'd like to use in the fall..end of Oct or early November. I want to go to a beach as secluded as possible. Florida is obviously not being considered.
I'm thinking Rincon, Puerto Rico. I've been to PR before and loved it.
They have a rather strict entry requirement at the moment, assuming this will change in the coming weeks/month. Must have documentation of a negative COVID test 72 hours before arrival. Also the entire island is still on a 10pm curfew.

Interesting. Never done the South of Italy but have done Florence twice (w/ bike tours out to Tuscany, loved it), Cinque Terre (loved it), and then Rome and Venice (they were cool to see, once). Would love to go back and explore the south but Europe doesn't seem in the cards this year, maybe next year.
We are headed up to a beach in Garden City, SC this weekend. Parents are coming into town so we wanted to get away childless for a couple nights, and somewhere where it is easy to distance. I doubt we will go eat indoors anywhere, just trying to enjoy a few nights away and relax.
The 737 Max is back in action. I would have to assume after being grounded for nearly 2 years and scrutinized, that this will be one of the safest jets out there. I would be lying to you though, if I happened to be on this flight and say I wasn't nervous. I bet that first bout of turbulence made some ass cheeks clench.
We’re starting to think about 2021 trips. I may try and do Vegas for March Madness between my wife and I we can get a 1100 sq foot suite at Vdara for about $350 for 7 days with $150 food credit and $150 Freeplay. The room has a full kitchen so if Corona is still bad I can just bet the games on their app and watch games from the room and hit the blackjack tables when it’s not as busy.
Also starting to think about an all inclusive trip for summer or early fall. The resort we really enjoyed has made a lot of changes so we may try a new place. I wouldn’t mind going back to Jamaica or trying somewhere new. We really wanna visit Europe but might put that off another year because of covid.
Beach vacation thread got me thinking about other travel plans.
Where is everyone going/ have been this summer?
Wife and I are doing the around Ohio and surrounding areas trip this summer. We plan on visiting doing several long weekends in several cities to see either a baseball game or just hang out: Cincy, Cleveland, Detroit, and Pitt. If we can get to it, some time in Cedar Point and/ or Kings Island.
We have been exploring numerous places in Columbus the last month or so, checking out a Clippers game, plan on seeing a Crew game soon.
It has been some years since we visited any of those cities, and that now things are back open, good time to visit and see some baseball/ explore.
I'm going to Orlando next week, but it's for work.
Flying back to Ohio end of August to see family. Haven’t been back in around 2 years. Taking the 3.5 year old and almost 2 year old. Hope it isn’t a disaster. We thought about driving but that sounds even worse, as a 3 hour drive is already terrible.

Oahu was cool. I’d go back and visit a different island.
Going to St. Louis next month for several days. Suppose to be good place to take kids. I’ve never been. Definitely want to go up in the Arch and visit Mark Twain national forest. We’re kind of stuck in no man’s land with the ages of our kids (3 and 7.)
Wife and I are going to Roque Bluffs, Maine in September for our 20th. Got a Vrbo right on the ocean way up north, close to Canada in a secluded, wooded area.
