Only thing on the horizon is a trip to Orlando for a wedding in March. Not my first choice, but I'll take some warm weather and a trip to Universal. I haven't been since I was a kid.

Went to a wedding in Orlando last year – Four Seasons Resort …..stayed at the Orlando Marriott World Center  -- great pool/bar.  Top notch all the way around.  Zero interest in Disney stuff.

I'm headed there mid December. Wedding is at Mission Inn Resort

I'm staying at the Cabana Bay Beach Resort near Universal for the first few days. Got a suite for practically nothing through a connect. Not thrilled about any of it, but should be ok. 

Heading to Queen City for a wedding.  If you had two brew houses to recommend, what would they be?  Thx.

downtown ……should be able to get wherever driving or via UBER.

Good with most anything, but prefer the stouts and porters as winter approaches.  May need to be on the slightly upscale side given the circumstances.

Listermann's is my favorite, and they do a lot of wild experimental stouts and stuff in the winter. They aren't far from downtown, would be a cheapish Uber. Rhinegeist is really close, but it's meh, IMO. There is a newer place call Three Points that is just a bit north of the casino. I've only been there once, but it was good. The space was pretty cool.

Absolutely loved Prague. If you have enough time, we did a tour called taste of Prague and it was awesome. You get to see their newly growing food scene after communism and you also learn a lot about how life was during it. Was well worth the money and the highlight of our trip.

Absolutely loved Prague. If you have enough time, we did a tour called taste of Prague and it was awesome. You get to see their newly growing food scene after communism and you also learn a lot about how life was during it. Was well worth the money and the highlight of our trip.

Was in New Orleans from 12/24-12/31. Was my third time down there and first time there during Christmas. It was an awesome trip. If you are down there in December, go to a place that does a traditional Reveillon meal. So many good meals and drinks. Food wise we hit: SoBou, Court of the Twin Sisters, Cane and Table, Peche, Cochon, Atchafalaya, Jacques-Imo's, and the Fountain Club inside the Roosevelt Hotel. We have previously done a bunch of the famous places, so we wanted to hit up some other ones.

We spent some time in the French Quarter, but most of our time was spend in the downtown, warehouse district, garden district, and west side of town.

We also spent a day in Baton Rouge where I walked around the LSU campus, saw Mike the Tiger and Tiger stadium. Tiger stadium is really impressive. Baton Rouge is a nice little town and we ate at Parrain's Seafood, which was really good. 

Also, people from New Orleans and Louisiana love Ohio State because of Joe Burrow and all the Saints that are Buckeyes. I got so many thanks from people. 

I'm going to Ibiza in May. Bachelor party and I'm in the wedding. Complaining just to complain, but it's a bit exessive for a bachelor party. Also insanely expensive, but should be a blast.

They just got engaged before Xmas, date set right after, now bachelor party is in motion. I've always wanted to go, but fuck...not right now. I'm on accrual vaca system at work so my hope was to be conservative in my first year. I fear I'll be in the red instead of banking days to roll over.

NYC folk.  Going to be in broadway/times sq area to see a few plays with the family, suggestions for local fare for meals to partake in?

Need to be more specific, you have so many options in and close to that area. 

Carmine's (family style Italian) is a place I've been to a few times and would recommend. It's great for groups.

Just three of us, teenager.  We are into Vietnamese, Mexican, Bistro type, Steakhouses.  No pizza (unless it is something better that Lou Malnati's) or pasta.

Not really walkable, but Nishi brunch was phenomenal when I went this past October. Absolutely recommend. I also got a main dish, which was tremendous. But we mostly just ate the entire brunch menu.

Absolutely think it is retarded for those getting married to expect people to do big expensive trips like this.   I would say no just on principle of the whole thing.   

It's not like it's mandatory. Several have already declined. If it wasn't Ibiza I'd be out. I've heard so much about it and the party culture, I've been wanting to go for years. Timing is just off for me. I have no issues with flat out saying no...I've done it several times in the past.

My problem is when they get offended and bent out of shape when someone declines. I had a friend do that when I couldn’t make his bachelor party. Fuck those people.

That is a bit out of the way, hoping for walkable north of 34th and west of Madison.  :)
