Grazie.  I will still bust your balls on here though, especially with more time to post lol.

Fair enough. That's what makes a message board entertaining.

Our club just sent out an email. Basically, the course is re-opening for walking only. Clubhouse is still closed.

I received an email yesterday from the Hamilton County Health Department instructing that golf was no longer considered an essential business and we were to close immediately.  We complied with their directive and the course was cleared.  We are now hearing that this decision may be amended.

What Ivy Hills and some other private clubs have opted to do is to not restrict members from walking their own golf course.  The pins are in and tee markers are back on the golf course.  There will be no access to the clubhouse including the Golf Shop and turn window. The only staff on property will be the maintenance crew and kitchen workers.  If any members decide play, they must abide by social distancing standards at all times, not touch the flagstick, and please repair all divots and ball marks.

I will be reaching out next week with updates.  Again, thank you for your continued support of the club.  Please check out our Facebook page for continued updates and an incredible surprise tomorrow!

I keep noticing all these celebrities and rich people are testing for it with “little to no symptoms”. They don’t test regular people with little to no symptoms.

Lol Kathy Griffin just got caught lying about having it. What a low life.

I saw someone saying she thought she might and wanted a test.  Where did she say she had it?

Damnit. This year sucks.

Just saw Joe Diffie at our little Apple Festival 3 years ago. He was great. So fun. Great dude.

I started listening to country music in the early 90’s because pop was sucking and Diffie had a bunch of big hits.

Trump extended the social distance guidelines til April 30th which isn’t surprising at all but I’m not really sure of the significance. Assume everything (schools, nonessential businesses, large social gatherings, sports, etc) will stay shut down til then?

Talking into canceling football season.

At some point, we have to re-open for business.  This can't and won't drag on for months.

The question is if we would still ban large gatherings.  Then it becomes whether the NFL would want to play empty stadiums.  By July, I would hope we have the capacity for the NFL to test all 2500 players and coaches or whatever the number is, DAILY.

College and high school sports is a much tougher question.  Those kids go home to stay with family, or they're out and about in the community.  Not sure it would be practical to test all those athletes daily.  And the problem is athletics prevent social distancing.  We'll have to make some tough trade-offs, but allowing sports seems like it would be allowing an unnecessary vector.

MLB might be done for the year.  But the NFL, NBA and NHL could pull it off, and they should even if it means empty stadiums because people are going to be really sick of Netflix.  And, actually, why couldn't they just reduce capacity like 80% so you have some fans safely spaced out?  Especially in the NFL with outdoor stadiums.

Yes OHSAA are talking about fall sports being affected.

According to most models, we are several weeks from the peak, and the curve is symmetric. So if it takes 6 weeks of shutdown to reach the peak, it will probably be another 6 weeks after that. Depending upon when it hits, we might be into June or July to go back to normal activity. I would imagine people being very cautious at that point, and maybe slow to increase group size.

Saw that the markets with all of their cat, bat & dog "delicacies" had re-opened in China this morning. Probably was mentioned previously in this thread but I'm calling bullshit on their 2500 (or so) death toll. When you have 50k urns shipped in, I doubt it's for normal/weekly deaths in the area.

My parents are doing well staying isolated but it’s tough watching them depressed not seeing grandkids for weeks. They usually saw them couple times a week.

Yeah, my girlfriend's been in a funk since she'd babysit the grandkids 2-3x's per week. Now that her son has it, and they are on quarantine, the closest she's gotten to them was Saturday when we left a bunch of Gatorade (dropped it off and left, no exposure) on their front porch for the 1 year old.

Couple of the breweries/beer stores I order from both reduced hours today. Wonder if it’s inevitable they’ll have to temporarily close. That’ll suck.
