Anyone have any good parlays for the golf Majors? Saw a couple interesting ones with huge payouts if you hit. Obviously, nearly impossible - but some pretty serious coin if you hit lol

Nope. But I bet golf almost weekly. Ill post my stuff on here and hopefully we get more traction with it legal in Ohio. QO does a decent amount but I think thats mostly pools around the big tournaments. You will quickly find that I am drawn to Morikawa almost every time he tees it up haha

  • Mori - 22/1
  • Vik - 23/1
  • Deki - 38/1
  • Poston T10 - +440
  • Harmon T5 - +550
  • Mori T10 - +130
  • Mori over Im H2H - +110

Had a great night tonight. Put about $300 of free bets across various sites on Purdue +1.5. Had a parlay with Purdue Moneyline and Boston -2.5 and a $50 on the caps to beat the bluejackets by 2. Hit on everything.

Customer Service is pretty top notch for these companies, shockingly.

Update-- this has absolutely not been the case with Draft Kings thus far:

I submited a ticket saying that my account is currently in a restricted status because of the geolocation app. I admit that I probably caused my own problem by attempting to use it on a virtual machine and have since removed everything. I also mention that I have given up on accessing via computer and just want the restriction lifted so I can bet on my phone.

Two days later the support person replies with a copied/pasted KB article telling me to remove the offending software (despite me already detailing this in my orginal request). I reply to him that I have already done that.

18 hours pass. The support person replies with a second, unrelated copied/pasted KB article and then immediately marks the ticket as resolved.

I opened a second ticket saying that my first ticket was unresolved and that my account was still restricted. A different guy grabbed it, apologized for the hiccup, and said he had forwarded my ticket to another section for review. However, I can tell on their support site my ticket is still assigned to him with the problem description being Deposit Limit Increase and the status of ticket as 'Awaiting your reply'.

I don't expect this to get resolved.

Damn that sucks. I havent had any issues with them when I have had issues. Ive even gotten my money back before games start after a late injury happens.

After I wrote my post up, I decided to just try and withdraw the $228 I earned playing with the free bets and it processed immediately and went into my Paypal account.

If DK's support staff were competent, they would've fixed the problem and I would've ultimately pissed my balance away on careless bets.

Instead I'll just walk away with $228 worth of house money. Fuck em.

The love hate with golf. Entertainment for 4 straight days, but you can see the finish line only for it to crash and burn.

Loooong way to go.

I finally signed up on FanDuel and got a lot of the free bet money. Did $50 on the Ohio boost bet for a single point scored in the Bengals game.

I look forward to joining you all in your degeneracy.

Jags were plus money ALL night after the early 10-0 hole. And it always seemed they were gonna pull it out. I even got -105 on +4.5.

Need Chubb to hit 71 yards today and Morikawa to hold on (plus Poston and Harmon go low) and it will be by far my best week of betting in terms of number of wins.

Like I said…

I’ll still be profitable with his T-10 and over Im prop. But boy oh boy that could’ve been a huge week. Sigh.

That blows. Rahm was T5 for me, and kicking myself for not going all in on him now but oh well.

I hopped on your Chubb bet and that was profitable.

Got A. Rodgers and A. Jones for GB going over 200 passing yards and 40 rushing yards at right now.

It is tough. One guy I follow is really into the NHL and does a lot of "in regulation" lines. Likes Buffalo a lot tonight.

Have to invest enough initially to lose a bunch. Otherwise, you just chase bets trying to get ahead. If you deposit $100, you will never win. I usually deposit $500, as that is plenty to work with for a while. And any morning I wake up, I withdraw it back down to $500. I havent tracked it too closely, but feel that keeps me closer to even than if I waited until I was up $500 or something.

I’m in the minority but I’m not really trying to make any money, anything significant anyways. It’s fun and can make games interesting you wouldn’t otherwise care about.

That is my philosophy as well. Great to have skin in the game and make games way more interesting. My wife will joke, why we watching a blowout and then realize I am on the spread.

My buddy amd I have a decent process where I take the lead on college and him on the NFL/ NHL.

It has sustained us for a few years going now. We are up both in college and the NFL this year.

I'm certainly not in it to lose money, though lol.

I am ok losing a small amount, which I have. I look at it as a form of spending for entertainment -- but with a chance at making it profitable.

I’m not looking to lose money either. It’s been active for over a week and I’ve spent maybe ten dollars. I’ve lived off those “wager on x team to score a point” bets. They’ve done that with the bengals I think twice and there was one for OSU bball to hit a three pointer. I imagine those will be going away soon? I could win decent money tonight if TCU wins.

But I’m never going to invest much money. A little bit here and there. I’m actually kind of frugal so this was never going to be a big thing for me.

They are prominent initially, but stick around longer than you'd think. But yes, they eventually stop and then you get them sporadically at the start of seasons (like NBA opening night, etc).

Oh, agree too. I rarely make a big unit bet. I did make one last night that paid off, Lions.

I joke, I make a profit in football season so I can lose it the rest of the year.

I may take TCU tonight, and buy it up to 14. But, the fact TCU is so public has me worried.

I dont like tonights game at all, no feel. I might wait and see if Georgia gets up 7-0 or 10-3 or something. TCU live line will jump up. My best wins have been live lines recently. Vegas is pretty spot on setting those initial lines, so when one jumps 5-6 points early, I usually jump on it and plan on the game script to play out close to the initial one.

61 points scored tonight would make me quite happy.
