ESPN used their "simulator" to predict the last 3 games, determining who makes the playoffs. They had the Browns getting destroyed by Houston 33-10 this week, then squeaking by the Jets by one point and beating the Bengals the final week, getting in as the 5 seed. They had Pittsburgh beating the Bengals this week, by one, then losing out to go 8-9. They had the Bengals losing their last 3 games. They said this simulator was very accurate last year. I'm thinking not so much this year.

That makes about zero sense to me (the Houston game). Even with Stroud playing great, their M.O. more often than not was to play teams close and get a clutch drive late to seal the deal, as opposed to killing them (their only two lopsided wins were early in the year with Jacksonville and Pittsburgh back to back). Their one game with Keenan was an ugly OT win against a bad team. If they have a magical formula for how to utterly smash a decent-to-good team while starting a career back-up, uh, can they please pass it to Pittsburgh like right now?

Woof....I'm hearing rumblings that Tomlin may have interest in being traded to the Commanders or Chargers. I still think he's a good motivator but has no control over his locker room with guys like Pickens, Diontae Johnson and previously Antonio Brown. This stat, ouch....

Commanders are historically the sort of idiot-run franchise who would give up far more than needed to pull something like this off, so I'd be down with that!

Tomlin is not a builder.  I don't think he'll risk his faux "legacy" going to a bad team where he knows he'll fail.  The only situation he can succeed in is a SB-ready team that just needs a few tweaks on defense and a bit more discipline on offense.

So this is messed up...WR Mike Williams, who died a few months back, died from sepsis from an infection due to bad teeth.

Bengals looking ass 

Just like I predicted. 

Once this loss is official my interest in the season can conclude. Hope Burrow can stay healthy for a change next season. 

Bengals didn’t look overly energized for this game.

NFL has had a mess of unpredictable 3 game winning streaks and losing streaks that were basically out of nowhere. Should investigate. 😁

Packers must win….so they shall. 33-30

Browns vs Texans…no Stroud Browns are better but Texans winning and Browns losing keeps things more interesting. Texans 24-20 on TD with under 20 seconds left

Jaguars vs Buccaneers….Jags 3 game losing streak? All 3 game winning and losing streaks are ending. Other teams’ turns. If Colts and Texans win, Jags better too. Buccaneers need to lose or they’ll clinch too early. Jags 27-21 on late TD

Cardinals vs Bears…game means nothing. They should let Justin Fields and Kyler Murray go to an elementary gymnasium with 20 kindergarten kids chasing them and see who can stay untouched th e longest. Bears 26-22

Cowboys vs Dolphins….by my reasonings the Cowboys find a way. Boys 30-27 on 51 yard FG as time expires

Broncos have to win….Broncos 23-22, Pats miss 50 yd FG as time expires

Chargers quite the dramatic change in coaches from last week to this week lol

Wasn't expecting the Steelers to stomp the shit out of the Bengals and stay alive-ish in the playoff race, but I'll take it. Rudolph actually looked like a real NFL quarterback and Pickens was actually trying to do stuff, so that was wild to see.

Their offensive line hasn’t been that miserable. It could certainly be better considering all the money they’ve invested. There’s a lot of hope they’ll replace the o-line coach this offseason. Burrow also notoriously holds onto the ball way too long and was unable to run on the calf. Plus the appendix and calf had nothing to do with them. And maybe the wrist even though being hit by Clowney exacerbated it. Sounds like he had something going on prior to that. 

What will have to happen to get Ravens vs Joe Flacco and the Browns in the playoffs? I see this at about 90% for happening.

Can’t believe it took me so long to see this one.

I stand corrected. I just assumed they still sucked because the Browns DL played well and they were bad last few years. 

I just looked up OL stats and they are ranked around 12th overall this season, way better than last few years.
