Early in the game I saw a Cowboys player throw a Bills player to the turf, after the play ended, and he landed on Micah Parson's knee. Parson's got up slowly and I was thinking "if he blew out his teammates knee, what a dumbass" but Parson's returned. Bills look pretty focused. When they can run the ball like that, they're deadly.
posted by Ironman92I’ve never seen anyone ever do that….but sure he could’ve easily done that. How do you wrap up a torpedo coming in waste high?
I sit on my couch and think the same as you….just let him land the catch and two hand touch him down, but no one ever does that. I hate that hit, I hate the injuries seemingly every 10 plays…but in that type of play I’ve never seen the defender do what we think he should be able to do.
90% of this post is because no one even wants them to. Football coach wants pain and set a tone/message. They aren’t taught to ease up, if anything, they are engrained to compute if it’s going to be legal and go for it.
Fuck up a little more, Jacksonville

Ravens have had solid fortune

Now we have a game.
BAL losing is actually good for PIT - if they rest starters Wk18 that might actually open the door for Tomlin to keep his streak of non-losing seasons alive.

Ravens ain’t losing man…as you were typing that Lamar broke 2 sack attempts and threw a wild ball down the field that the receiver stole from the defender….because everyone team in the AFC North except 1 has Randy Moss
Damnit.
He’s done. Jesus

Yikes on that one.
Looked BAD in real time. I left the room so I'm not sure if they ever showed a replay. I didn't want to see it.

The standard is the standard!
Which was a cool slogan until the standard become mediocrity where you have a team in the playoff hunt where they'll either barely miss the postseason or barely make it and then get waxed by a higher seed that, crazily enough, has aspirations beyond "hopefully we'll sneak in and, then, who knows what could happen!".
I’m sick of average RBs fumbling the ball away in the most important game they’ll ever play but I guess we both won’t get what we want Rashard

Thanks to Mendenhall's tweet being roasted like crazy on the Twitter today, I've gotten so many damn reminders of how noted white guy Clay Matthews Jr. absolutely lit him up and forced a fumble in a Super Bowl that the Steelers lost.
It's like: "Thanks bro. It's not bad enough the Steelers are in shambles right now this year; now we have you saying stuff that leads to me having to relive a shitty moment from the past. Good times!"

JJ Watt replied and kind of agreed with him saying "nobody on our side's gonna guard Tyreek."
Thoughts on the Kazee suspension?

He sucks. NFL maybe setting a precedent for defensive players to let up completely on those overthrows putting everyone in a dangerous position.

No one would disagree with Mendenhall about that. The tweet was still weird to everyone but JJ apparently. He’s going to turn into the defensive version of McAfee.
Mason Rudolph gets the desperation start this week…he can’t move and Steelers line gives no time. Bengals only 2.5 favorites. What does Vegas know? Steelers have zero defense beyond the defensive line….they will give up no fewer than 24 points. How will they score more than 13?
I see a 31-6 game
Insane catch
They miss Geno. Lock looks bad
Those catches by Seattle receivers when it mattered….WOW
Lock with a great TD pass
Something satisfying about Philadelphia losing.
They randomly and quietly brought Matt Patricia onto the defensive staff this week I think as coordinator, only to lose to Drew Lock.
Seattle made 4 of the best catches I’ve seen all year to beat the Eagles, all in final 1:20 and one by the defense
Pretty hat tip worthy
And the Seahawks remain in playoff contention…..shocking
When I started watching football 65 years ago, I liked pro football better than college and high school because they were the only ones that had a good chance of catching passes. Then as the years passed, colleges got to where they were pretty decent, then high school followed, so that both college and high school got much more interesting to watch. Whether or not catches are made and throws are on target to the right receiver choice make a tremendous effect on the outcome, hopefully in each game, that matters more to who wins, than how the officials call the games.

I'm probably in the minority, and you know my disdain for the Steelers, but I didn't think that hit was suspension worthy. I thought the hit was pretty clean but the "defenseless receiver" part is where they got him.
