I don’t want to live in Chicago ever.  I feel the same way about anywhere I’ve ever visited in Texas.

Only good thing is Texas is food, and maybe the Circuit of the Americas.

What a false argument. You know better. No one is really in favor of just killing babies and if they are, they are just as extreme as the crazy no exceptions crowd here.

It is having the option, if needed, to terminate the pregnancy with the discussion with their doctor, not having the government telling women what they can and cannot do.

I'm still wondering what people here think of the Ohio bills being debated.

No more a false argument as “those republicans aren’t going to like more black and brown babies born”

Sorry you didn’t get my reverse union card on the absurdity of that statement.

This popped up on my Linked feed.  Some brave people risking cancellation/termination to disagree.  If you're going to play the "if you don't have a uterus, you can't have an opinion", then this policy shouldn't be announced/shared BY A MAN.

Posted by a software engineer named Cameron MacLean with Salesforce.  See if you can spot the inherent stupidity in this policy:

If Roe vs Wade is reversed, and your state decides to limit access to your own reproductive rights, and you are a Salesforce employee, we will pay to relocate you to a location where those rights are not limited.

I'm properly disgusted that regardless of your position on abortion, that the debate about rights to your own body has reopened. If you don't have a uterus, you are not entitled to an opinion in this debate. Full stop.

So everything the leftists said turned out to be false...

both things can be true correct?  they worked to supress votes and it didnt work?  Surely you dont think they tried to pass  measures that wouldnt benefit their party right?  that makes no sense

They have no legal or constitutional argument of merit, so they are already moving to the false narratives that the court is going to go after lgbtqxyz'ers, and interracial marriage, and every other thing they they can sling on the wall in order to simply scare people into voting for these Marxists.

Nice; state reps are not on the supreme court; they're not even judges; they are elected representatives voted on by The People every two years.

Democracy, you know.

Looking at her, I'm guessing that casual sex probably never was in the cards, leading to her extremist views on the matter.

IF… States get to make laws. Weird. Do I agree with it, no. But that’s how the law works. I disagree with plenty of state laws. Find a state you like and move to it.

You do know the state of Ohio is debating a similar bill right now, right? I posted the bills earlier. One of them makes little to no exceptions.

I guess you better pack your bags then.

Similar <> the same and debating <> law.

Interesting the primary sponsors of these bills are women.  Anyways I read portions of the bills.  You can point out the section(s) you have a problem with.

The lack of exceptions part..and the vague language on health of the mother. When does that come in play exactly?

If someone is not able to carry a pregnancy to full term, does that count? Unclear.

Also, easy to jump to Plan B is outlawed under the bill.

Has this been spoon fed to you by others or is it your opinion after reading the bill?

Watching the hearings....and reading it.

I still know the language can change as it makes it way out of committee and there does seem to be some reservation about the lack of exceptions.

Also, Jean Schmidt is just nuts with her views on the bill.

HB & SB Sec.2904.031/.032  Agree or disagree it does not sound vague or unclear to me.

Does that mean if someone is in the 1st trimester, and the doctor says they cannot carry to full term, they can perform the procedure?

There also needs to be a different doctor to verify the fact, which may seem hard to come by depending on the time and circumstances.
