Whistleblower complaint is 12 pages......I am sure it was written without help.

My thoughts on reading this summary of the transcript is it doesn’t look like much but it’s important to note that the transcript of the cal has not been released. There are multiple interviews where gulliani and trump say they asked the Ukraine to investigate Biden so it seems very likely they did. Is that something that should be impeachable? I’m not sure but they did impeach Clinton for lying about a blowjob so

Wut?  The transcript was released.  There is no word for word.  Calls weren't recorded.  2 people listen in and transcribe in real time.  If issue arises  the notes are compared.  This procedure was stated by the media yesterday.

As for Clinton....he was impeached for lying to Congress.  Clinton didnt break the law.

Let me add....all this doesnt matter.  The dems are going to vote for impeachment regardless of what they have.  They don't care about anything but interfering in the 2020 election domestically in the courts.

the transcript wasn't released, and i think that is the whole point of the whistleblower complaint  is that there was recording that the WH worked to suppress. Im not sure it really matters tho, its not like hes really denying what hes being accused of but rather saying its not a big deal.

Are they?  I haven't followed super closely, but it sounds like Pelosi SHOULD have a vote for a formal impeachment "inquiry", but is deliberately trying an end-around on a vote she might lose.  Trying to placate the left while protecting the moderates in red districts.

Which should provide some interesting legal battles.  If indeed she needs a formal vote for even an "inquiry", then the argument would go you don't have the elevated subpoena powers if you haven't had an official vote....which they'll probably then use as more grounds for impeachment.

I guess I always thought when someone lied under oath to a grand jury that was considered breaking the law.

Federal District Judge Susan Webber Wright wrote:

Simply put, the president's deposition testimony regarding whether he had ever been alone with Ms. (Monica) Lewinsky was intentionally false, and his statements regarding whether he had ever engaged in sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky likewise were intentionally false ...

From this Clinton was fined $90,000 and given a 5-year ban on practicing law when he later plea-bargained to a $25,000 fine.

I think he did break the law.

He was impeached for lying to the court in the Paula Jones case, not for lying to Congress.

I know it's not realistic, but if people would quit paying so much attention to these assclowns in DC, this kind of nonsense would slow down.  The impeachment garbage is 95% about getting on TV for the individual member.

It's pretty amazing that Pelosi has actually become the non-crazy voice of reason in that party.

If most of our politicians weren't committed to being career politicians, the sane people in both parties would have already broken off to form a plurality 3rd party.

If the media weren't their lapdogs they wouldn't get away with this crap.  Instead their media runs cover and interference.

Matt Walsh made a good point on twitter yesterday. It's amazing seeing all of the old videos from the 90s of prominent people talking about impeachment, and these same ass clowns are still in power! Bunch of the same people have been running this country for 20+ years. How depressing.

And that is exactly why we are here....Trump is not one of them.  He is busting up the status quo.

His security clearance should be revoked, and by default then he should be removed from the committee.  If he had not already received a security clearance, there is zero chance he could get one now.  He is the biggest leaker, liar and phony in congress today ….and that is saying something.

This whole charade absolutely proves one thing:  The United States intelligence apparatus is STILL spying on the president of the United States of America.

And now we know; it was the CIA spying on the president.

Good God, talk about a crisis in our foundation.  Maybe it is time to shut down the CIA until it is completely drained.

Just to be clear what parts of the accusations are you saying aren’t true? I’m assuming obviously that he withheld funds unless they helped with Biden. Anything else?

You think this is the first time this has happened?  EVERY president likely plays this game with other countries.

I can understand someone making the argument that what he did was not illegal. I can not understand QO logic in trying to say that It’s some conspiracy and some lie. From what I can tell trump freely admits he did it and thinks it’s not illegal.

In order to have a viable 3rd party candidate you have to have things blow up enough that both the far right and far left simultaneously get behind a viable candidate in their ilk otherwise they will vote for the lesser of two evils.

At this point I will vote for Trump hoping something else emerges from the ashes.  The things the guy is accused of has been happening on a daily basis in Washington with multiple politicians.  Career politicians are loathed by many but yet still voted for because of the evil other.

Lets be frank the only way you get a viable 3rd party candidate is to defeat the Washington establishments on both sides.  I used to fear a multiparty system given a nutjob gets the needed electoral votes by spitting the others but the founders gave us enough checks and balances to handle it.

And, it turns out, the "journo" in question also had racist, homophobic tweets from 6-8 years ago.

He gone. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

The transcript was most certainly released. It was released first and the whistleblower report released the following day.

I am not sure what you are missing.
