I would love to see the way these million dollar CEOs vote because most larger companies I have dealt with the CEOs are all liberal and pushing liberal workplace policies.

Could just be because that's what their workforce demands.  As for how the CEO votes, I would guess they vote based on their company and wallet.  So if taxes & regulations (like in manufacturing) are going to hurt you, you'll probably vote Republican even if you're a liberal.  But they all definitely donate to both parties.

Question kind of reminds me of all the millionaires and billionaires complaining they WANT higher taxes.  Big eye roll....not only do none of them pay a penny more than required, most of them spend a small fortune on accountants and lawyers to minimize their taxes.  And Mr. Fair Share himself, Bernie Sanders, paid effective rates of 26%,30% and 35% from 2016-2018.  Looks like he probably used Biden's dodge to avoid the medicare tax on his book royalties.

I think there may be some industry correlation, but IMO it's mostly determined by locale.

Also, in my work travels I've rarely heard a Repub/conservative talk politics or religion.  Either they're afraid of reprisals, or they just don't care (probably a bit of both).  Sadly, the cancel mob doesn't have the same fear or reservations. But fortunately, I haven't run into much politics on either side.

A true psychopath doesn’t care either.  He/she will be whatever political persuasion the audience demands.

My wife and I did trivia tonight and our team name was “Let’s go, Brandon.” The trivia guy chanted it every time he said it when announcing standing and bonus points. Fun times.

Would have been funnier if he read your name and chanted "F*** you Biden" instead.

For sure. But you could tell he was on our side of the issue. He’s now my best friend.

Merrick Garland' son-in-law has a company that sells CRT and other bullshit to schools; ergo Garland tells DoJ to go after parents who criticize schools boards; these parents are domestic terrorists.  He needs to be fired, today.

LOL, trust me, if it's ok for Hunter to sell paintings for $500k this is no big deal.

But seriously, this is like rube goldberg'ing a business plan: attack parents who criticize CRT lest they prevent your son-in-law from selling a survey tool to schools.  Not really buying it.

So 130-some countries agreed to a "global minimum corporate tax rate of 15%".

Assuming this gets by Mitch McConnell, I guess the headline is they all agree companies will pay taxes wherever they do business.  Seems like this could either be a giant nothingburger, or a ginormous mess.

Oh, and Biden called it "historic" and "will level the playing field".  Well, if 15%=28%, then maybe Biden isn't senile afterall.

Jen Psaki blaming the 20% of the country that is unvaccinated (it’s a lot higher than that, right?) on Biden’s poor polling numbers.

Looks like we’re at 56.4% fully vaccinated. Is this administration being fact checked like Trump was? Where is the lie tracker?

Don’t be silly. Just live the Covid death number, they might mention it vs obsessively slobbing over it. They don’t even try to hide it and yet the left like ptown pretend there is no difference.

I guess that number could include the entire population, including ineligible children. Either way, I love that they're blaming their utter failures on a minority of Americans.

At this point I don't think we're talking failures, as they can't be this inept.  This is planned and purposeful; The People are under assault on all fronts.  The point-of-no-return is no longer 'over the horizon'.

Biden halts work on border wall sections

Steel worth tens of millions of dollars will remain idle after President Joe Biden canceled border wall construction in the sectors of Laredo, Texas, and the Rio Grande Valley. In total, about $2 billion has been wasted so far with the president's orders to halt wall construction, according to Senate Homeland Security subcommittee ranking member James Lankford, R-Okla.

LOL, Kamala hired child actors for a NASA space video.

Not exactly a big deal, or probably even uncommon.  Just another example of how fake and manufactured everything in politics is.

On a related note, does this mean Kamala needs to register with the SAG?

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous.  Though I heard they were maybe going to, instead, increase the amount to $10k. Not sure of the finer details, but no idea how this materially differs from AML laws already on the books.

Also, what I thought I read was requiring reporting on TRANSACTIONS over $600, which would be a significant difference from what the tweet implies.

Did you know, when the current $10k reporting threshold was enacted that $10k was worth (I think, roughly) $70k in today's dollars? These MFers are patient.

I've heard the $600 reporting as both transactions over that amount and accounts with more than that amount. Both are terrible.

The audacity of this admin to pull a stunt like this when they're fixing to spend trillions of dollars we don't have.

Haha, good point.  Same idea with the Alt Min Tax, I suppose.

But they already have all kinds of automated/digitized checks on the income you report on your tax return.  And they can audit you any time they want and demand your banking records.

So not sure that this is really a "new" power, it's just harnessing technology to make it harder to cheat.  But I do think with so many in the gig economy now, plus crypto, that a lot of taxable income isn't being fleshed out by traditional checks like 1090 and 1099's produced by employers and banks.
