It's crazy stuff. Maybe it's Russia or Chinese, but that might be almost scarier if they have that much of a technological edge. Doesn't seem possible anyone could be that advanced.
Also a little freaky it seems to be concentrated around military ops. So the skeptic in me would say it's not alien because they would have recognized very quickly how technologically superior they are.
Or maybe this is actually US tech and this is all intentional misdirection for plausible deniability.

US Steel was almost to the end of the permitting process for this project when they delayed finalizing it themselves. US Steel bought an electric steelmaker in Arkansas called Big River Steel and has doubled its output over the past couple of years. With electric steel more and more capable of meeting the quality requirements BOF steel used to alone meet, the company likely realized that spending this kind of money on some of the most antiquated facilities in the industry was not a good choice.

You're not? They must not plan or be able to pass their infrastructure bill via budget reconciliation.
I love it. Without student loan forgiveness the Dems might not even have the votes in the House to pass this. Although I think everyone agrees we need some infrastructure investment.
Either that, or its a classic political ploy to lower expectations so they can later claim victory when they pass a much more limited student loan forgiveness package than people were expecting.

I agree. But I'd like to see some money to start fixing bridges. That's about where my plan begins and ends.
Maybe if Trump had won we finally would have gotten to see his healthcare and infrastructure plans.

I wouldn't be terribly upset if they handed out set dollar amounts to specific projects like the Brent Spence bridge. But a general infrastructure bill, given the definition of infrastructure I've seen thrown around from DC, would be a flaming pile.

He might not have been there but he definitely defended the murderous pieces of shit that were there. He also lied about the Davidians shooting down choppers with .50 cals.
I mean, the discrimination that happened in our past is atrocious. Period. Non-negotiable. But I refuse to feel this white guilt bullshit that this administration is hellbent on pushing onto us. At this point, just stop talking about how bad it was and do something to make it right. Give free education to all descendants of the victims of Greenwood, do something else, stop talking and trying to widen the divide that this shit put into place and try to help the recovery even though we're 100 years even acknowledging what happened.
