So Pelosi took two speeches home last night, when saying she was stepping down, and another continuing on.

She's like 82.  How is there a decision to make here?

I do think we need age limits, in addition to term limits.

Hey, having both her and Mitch being in super-influential positions in the House/Senate while actually being older than the ancient president is definitely, uh, something!

Sad part is, I'd take both over McCarthy and Schumer.  But that's partially only because Pelosi became much more moderate after the batshit left & AOC started running the party.

Hoping Adam Schiff doesn't get elected to the Senate...

Wouldn't most of us have that sort of ego if we were a career politician holding one of the highest offices in the land in an era where politics have gotten so one-sided and divisive for most people that one base thinks you're some sort of messiah figure and the opposition base thinks you might be the single most important adversary they have?

I mean, did you catch those constant poli-commercials? Nearly every "random R candidate" had at least one focusing on how "random D candidate" was part of Team Pelosi and needed to be beaten or her liberal agenda will pass. To the degree it felt less about R beating D in some random race and more about R beating Pelosi.

Man, I know if I was in that situation, I'd be sitting back every night with a drink in my hand and a smile on my face because it's all about me in a "Who really is the straw that stirs the drink here?!?" way!

It's not ego. It's insider trading.

And I think if we eliminate early or mail in, we would see the total numbers drop. .

I was only advocating eliminating early voting and most mail-in IF AND ONLY IF they made it a national holiday, as some are talking about.

I could care less if numbers drop.  The average person that couldn't be bothered to spend a few hours to vote on a paid day off probably hasn't put too much effort into being informed if that's too onerous.  Good riddance to those people.

Getting more stupid partisans to vote isn't something to strive for.

I'd like to know how hard they actually work.  I can't believe an octogenarian is actually putting in 60-70+ hour weeks on the regular the office requires [in theory].

And the other scary thing - maybe more alarming than anything - is the majority of the heavy lifting is done by 20-something law school students.  The people we actually elect are busy horse trading and cajoling people into voting for something most of them probably haven't read extensively, and even fewer understand.

That's why lobbyists actually serve a valuable purpose, because the career politicians and their staff typically know nothing about economics or running a business.  Without industry people to educate these idiots the laws they pass would be an even bigger disaster.

Didn't Pelosi, when recently asked a similar question, say something like "I think we can walk and chew gum at the same time?"

And I think we do need hearings on Hunter Biden.  You have actual evidence of malfeasance that sent liberals into a years-long tirade demanding Trump be in jail on the mere suggestion/suspicion that he and his family did similar.  What's good for the goose....

And why not? Fucking Dems wasted a shitload of taxpayer money with their stupid January 6th investigations. Now it's YOUR (Dems) turn to eat it.

The FBI/social media suppression of Hunter's "discretions" swayed the election. Had the info not been squashed, I'm sure 40,000+ might have changed their votes in WI, MI, PA, AZ, NV, etc.

I could care less its just funny to see that both sides do the same dumb shit.  When its your (not anyone specifically)  side doing it you are all for it, when its the other side doing it, its a waste of time and taxpayer money.

Well when one side is doing it based on 100% trumped-up falsehoods, yes, it is a massive waste of time and money.

You follow the absolute worst people on the shit show that is twitter.  But I agree with your other point, everyone likes owning the libs/ cons. And it’s only going to get worse.

But her entire premise is wrong bc not doing anything vs spending trillions is best for inflation, and they have tried things for the border for years, and moms for liberty are crushing school boards all over (not a federal govt issue).

Said by the guy who has been calling that "heads will roll" for how many years, despite no heads actually rolling? You are great at doing an A+ job at providing that unintentional comedy with how you're the exact same as those you despise the most!

You're assuming he can't care less.  And if he actually did care less, he probably wouldn't have posted it.
