  Whoa!!! What a finish. On the edge of my seat listening to the webcast the whole game. Great game Dover! Congrats to Northwest on a great season. Hope the Northwest player who went out on the stretcher is ok.

  Congrats Dover. One week/ one game at a time. Next on the list..Big Red. Seems they were a little down the first half with Salem. Time for Dover to get four Quarters on Steuby. Go Tornadoes.

  Northwest came to play. It was a tough win and way closer then most fans predicted. In the end Dover prevailed. Whew what a game.

  We both know that, with the crowds that BR and Dover bring, Fawcet may be the only place that can hold them.

  If I was a NW fan I'd be mighty upset, Dover was the better team but NW should have won that game.
  Why didn't Coach Whiting take the points in the Redzone? If he does no OT.
  Also I was very upset with the officiating (but I'm a Dover fan who always hates the refs), they weren't calling obvious holds and clips for either team. This was the sloppiest game I've seen in a while.
  But it doesn't matter how you get there, Dover will be playing for the region 11 championship, again... and the 3rd times a charm!

  Crazy game... Dover dropped what? 4 would be interceptions right in their hands? Letting the guy through on extra point attempts and the field goal was a no no too.. so many missed assignments, blown coverages, etc...
  
  However, it was a great warm up for the Big Red. The too will keep the Dover D on their toes.
  
  I seriously hope both teams show up next week... cause if one doesn't, the game will be over in a flash.

  Officiating was questionable but that didn't make or break the game. At least I didn't think so. Northwest came out to play tonight and they had their opportunities but didn't capitalize in that first half like they should have. If they did there would have been no need for overtime. But great season Northwest. You guys have done everything that's been asked of you and more. I have doubted you at times this year, but I love being proved wrong lol. Great Job! You should be proud. You seniors have been great to watch. Best of luck in whatever you do from here on out.
  
  
  Side note for the superstitious people: Since Whiting has come to Northwest, we have made 5 t-shirts for the big games, that's it. Each time we have, we've lost that big game. Not sure about the right order but...Louisville Shirt (Loss 14-0), Carrollton Shirt (9-0 NW loses a thriller at home), Steubenville (Not sure the exact game i think it was the one we lost 28-0), Licking Valley '07 (A.P. Champs LOSS) and finally at the end of the game tonight I saw someone with a Dover vs. Northwest shirt (I didn't know they had made them) and another loss.
  5 Shirts and 5 losses. Coincidence? I think not. Well that's enough of my rambling. lol

  Dover needs to attend church. Holy cow talk about heart attack city. As far as referees not calling penalties not sure on that. But I bet they didn't want to stop the clock. 3hrs 40 min playing time. I needed medical resuscitation. Most of the game i was laying on the bleacher in cardiac arrest, saying O NO O NO NO NO!!. Northwest your team was down right good. Hell of a dog fight. DOVER D was there when we needed them. The Dover O I've seen them play better. Dover was lucky and the gods of football saved there butts. Coach Ifft finely won a big game. Ot games Dover usually loses. #15 has guts!! God bless him. He is my player of the game. The fake punt almost killed me.

  Dover had NW dead to rights...21-7, 4th down NW punting....and Whiting calls the perfect play, punter(QB) fakes the high snap rolls left and turns around and hits a wide open receiver in stride....wow. Dover played sloppy at times and NW was able to pressure the QB all game. THANK GOD for #1, he put alot of shine on the turd play tonight and Dover moves onto Regional Finals week.
