    Wooster was reeling for a while after Rubbermaid bolted. I think Smucker's does the best they can to help/support Orrville Schools. Anxious to see how the Orrville/West Holmes games turns out.

    The Orrville City School District’s board of education held a special meeting Wednesday where it approved a 15-year, 50 percent tax abatement for the J.M. Smucker Company. The abatement centers on the potential construction of a $31 million facility for a pet food company that Smucker’s purchased earlier this year. Under the terms of abatement, the district would lose out on half of the property taxes generated from the project, but because of certain revenue sharing considerations it would still mean some pretty big financial benefits for the schools.
    This is exactly why our superintendent should be at the very least having discussions with local businesses. Smuckers has the district by the balls anyway because they will threaten to leave if they don't get their way. Some mutual marketing and PR never hurts either entity.

    35-2 West Holmes. Orrville gets a late safety as West Holmes takes a knee in their own end zone

    Lord of the Rings is a good description of our program. I can't see anyone in Ohio ever matching us.

    Cincinnati Moeller and Cleveland st. Ignatius are two teams that come to mind that have a pretty good shot and they actually win there's on the field .

    Glad you mentioned this...those boys are playing iron man ball! I believe they had 3 players on the sideline for subs. Hanging tough and getting it done. Great job guys. I might also add Fairless group I believe was 5-0.

    Yep. Great call by our staff in keeping that group together & letting them develop as a unit.

    These kids will be counted on heavily next year...

    I also think having Coach Slaughter and Coach McCauly down with the freshman this year was a good move! Experienced varsity coaches teaching these kids what its gonna take to win on Friday nights next year.
    I also want to add that the 8th graders are also having a nice year. There is more size on the 8th grade team this year than there is up front on the varsity team.

    Pure jealousy. If a kid has the opportunity to get out of Wayne County and display his talents on a national stage, he will take that opportunity every time.
