I just think we need a system so little Leipsic doesn't get matched up with a Cleveland all star team in the state title again. Either way it won't be until 2015 when the system is in place
The popular belief among many parochial school backers is that Leipsic simply needs to work harder. THAT will solve the problem. -

I don't understand why it's Kettering Alter's problem when they have 120 players? You're both have similar amounts of boys in the school, that's why your in the same division.Classyposter58;1412200 wrote:Great idea! Talk about a fix, however how do you define districts? Youngstown Cardinal Mooney still is Youngstown, thus won't be punished for kids from the city? The problem isn't private schools in D1, it's the smaller ones where they absolutely dominate. I mean seeing my high school in 2008 go to the D4 Final Four and play Kettering Alter, who had 120 kids on their football team is unreal. They're supposed to be in D4? Heck Chris Borland the following season was B1G Frosh of the Year
Same goes with MAC schools, seems like everyone plays football
That's a good thing, not something to be criticized -

I guess all these college basketball players are pathetic, ya know, since they're all celebrating making it to the final 4.
And the media in general who for years have made a big deal about the final 4. -

Week 13 would be final 8. -

QCB mentioned week 13....I was talking about regional championships which are week 14....FINAL 4. -

Regional championships are week 13. Regional champs move on to final four, week 14. -
skankShouldn't you be over on the serious business forums finding out, "Who like the color green?" Or, "Have you ever found a penny?"

Yes, but if you "WIN 4 OF 5 REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS", like I mentioned earlier....Where do you go from there? I'll give you a hint, it's the number AFTER 13, but BEFORE 15.
Read the whole thread. -
skankYou win a regional championship, you move on to week 14.

If people are upset about Leipsic being hammered in the state finals, were they equally as upset last year when Berlin Hiland and their transfer hammered Jackson Center by 32 in the state finals?skank;1415988 wrote:The popular belief among many parochial school backers is that Leipsic simply needs to work harder. Because what D4 has numbers similar to an elite D1 program? I mean shoot I think they only had 3 kids in their band, it seems as if the entire school just plays sportsRocket08;1417005 wrote:I don't understand why it's Kettering Alter's problem when they have 120 players? It bothers me when people bring up the small numbers in the bands at the smaller parochial high schools. It all starts in grade school. You have to remember that the band program at the feeder schools is basically non-existent. It's an extra expense that most schools are not going to take on. Additionally, you're not going to have much of a band when there's such small numbers in each class. But sports like football are able to survive by combining all of the elementary schools into one team.Classyposter58;1417328 wrote:Because what D4 has numbers similar to an elite D1 program? So what? Both schools have roughly the same amount of boys
If one chooses to try to win the football game, and the other decides to win halftime, so what?
Each gets the choice.
Why is that so hard for you to understand? -

As a Massillon fan, I am not happy with just getting to the final four. I want to win the whole thing. You have 1 winner. I was asking some of my other Massillon buddies about this and none of them want to brag about being the best loser in the state. You are in the minority with bragging about being one of the best losers in the state.skank;1417029 wrote:I guess all these college basketball players are pathetic, ya know, since they're all celebrating making it to the final 4.

Rocket08I thought skank was the "biggest" loser in the state

You made a few errors.
#1 You're not a Massillon fan.
#2 There is NO WAY you have a buddy, let alone a few.
#3 I wasn't brgging about anything, if you feel that I was, please show me. -

So then similar enrollment numbers is key huh?
