  Wasn't it an original part of the Orrville mystique, small school competing with and winning against larger schools? Now that you're getting beat you're crying that you're at an "unfair" disadvantage! We didn't hear that "cry" before last year, now it's all the rage!

  What in the heck are you talking about, are you delusional, do you know who I am or who my kid is, I in no way shape or form did I talk to you last night, must of had to many red solo cups on the way to the game. I was at the game, but I sure had nothing to do with you or your house of hate.

  well it was Zook's dad thought it was you-anyways I have never seen the guy in my life but he came right up to me and seemed to know who I was. He said I called his kid weak on here??? Hmmm he maybe had me confused with RR1 who always says we have no talent. What I did say was Zook looked like he was afraid to get hit last week.

  Here is a idea, know what and who you are talking to and about before you go on a rant, you did the same thing to summers last year, real classy to talk about a 17 year old kid being scared to his dad and grandfather, maybe next you could go to a nursery school and tell some four year olds there is no santa claus. Get a clue about social etiquette

  Here is a clue for you. If these kids spend their time on this site then that is your problem! Go do something productive! Get them off the computer and off the video games and get them in the weight room!!

  RRN I think you should review the previous comments throughout the season...RedRider1 certainly does not believe we have no talent...if he is guilty of anything it is overvaluing our talent. If a dad confronted you because you called out his son that is between you and him. I don't think it is appropriate for adults to attack a HS kid by name as an anonymous poster, but that's just me. I also don't know the vast majority of people who post on here, I simply weigh what that have to say and see if it matches up with what I see on the field.
  
  I agree with Series62 regarding the mystique of our sports programs...our history is largely based on being the underdog taking on the bigger schools and beating them. Joining the WCAL league is not a good fit for our sports program and our current administration does not like the idea for a variety of reasons--that is a fact. So regardless of what is bandied about on this board, it isn't going to happen. The sad reality is that we probably wouldn't have won the WCAL in football the past 2 seasons anyway. Let the debate begin.
  
  As I said in the preseason, we are lacking talent...that doesn't mean we have NO talent, it means we don't have enough. My honest opinion was that we would fall somewhere between 2-8 and 4-6 based on what we had coming out. My final prediction was 4-6. That is a successful season for what we have on the field in my opinion. I specifically said we have no Monheim, Pierman, Miller, Turner, or Brenner out on the field. That isn't the coaches fault, the players fault, the parents fault or the fans fault. It is what it is. We will lose a ton of talent after this season. Absent several kids moving into the district we won't even be a 4-6 team next year. Injuries happen, players get exhausted playing both ways all night, kids quit. Those are realities. We do need out of the OCC...we can't go to the WCAL...we shouldn't play as an independent. Now what? That is for the administration to decide.

  One of the most level headed & fair posts I've read in a long time. Sometimes it is what it is. Well said.
  
  No playoffs (even though we technically still have a shot) so everything gets poured into this week. Last hurrah for the seniors.
  
  And as said above..Smuckers bought Tavy's grandmothers home & tore it down. I believe his grandmother passed away over the summer as well. Good for him having success at Wooster. Haven't heard anyone say anything bad about him & Seems like a good kid that's been through a lot lately. His move certainly wasn't because of what our program did or didn't do with his abilities.

  I respect you guys for not being afraid to play in a league like the OCC. But if you don't find a league that's a better fit your football program is in serious danger. I think you guys have a fine D5 team right now. As you said you beat the PAC champ. Would probably play real well against the best in the WCAL this year. I would guess you would be 7-2 or 8-1 or maybe perfect in either one of those leagues right now and be in a playoff spot. Being in the league you are in is cheating your kids out of those opportunities.

  Nobody on here said we wish anything but the best for Short and that we wish he was here. You make it seem like we pushed him out which could not be further from the truth. What was the injury? Is he back to full health?

I love wrastling season man do you happen to know if Jackson or Orrville will be any good at wrastling this upcoming season?? Let me know man I am really jacked up!! Just a reminder to clean the mat real well in between wrastling matches so you don't get that ear thingy majiggy!!
