***Ditto ! If they had a cpl more stud wide-outs like ours....who knows ? I know it makes a hell of a difference when JZ is not anchoring that D-line. They didn't have to worry @ him doggin' Quinlin the whole 2nd half. JZ probably wouldn't have made a 35pt difference, but he's a presence any time he's on the field. Hope that Hammy heals in 7 days !O-Trap;1321944 wrote:Gotta tip my hat to them, though. They never quit and scored more points on Norwayne than anyone has all season. Even managed to swing some momentum in the third quarter. And technically, they won the second half.
That was a darn good team out there, and they have exactly nothing of which to be ashamed.
***Nice comeback Warriors. See you next yr.? -
Ohioprobably never see them again.

Ohio u ust know nothing about brookfield then. this was a great team ,its going to be hard to replace these senior class but our freshman ans spoh class is loadedwith talent. plus our jr high and midget teams are both undefeated thi year .our seniors this year great classs they put broofield football back on the map /but dont think were done were jut ptting more bulletts in the gunOhio;1321997 wrote:probably never see them again. -
Pick6Think they get St.C at New PHilly or Fawcett. I think Norwayne will be too much for St.C to handle, but they do have some talent that could make it an interesting game. LB/RB Michael Ferns is a big recruit who is going to play for Michigan. WR Dan Montesero is going to play for Boston College.

Zanesville has to be a possibility. -

No. Ohio is correct. They will suck again for a few years. That's why they left the AAC, they knew they were back to being a laughing stock after this year. You'll see.chaz6634;1322039 wrote:Ohio u ust know nothing about brookfield then. this was a great team ,its going to be hard to replace these senior class but our freshman ans spoh class is loadedwith talent. plus our jr high and midget teams are both undefeated thi year .our seniors this year great classs they put broofield football back on the map /but dont think were done were jut ptting more bulletts in the gun -
thePITmanCongrats to Norwayne on the big win! Brookfield was a very good team, but Norwayne really set the tone early on D and made the big passing plays on offense like we thought they might. Congrats to Brookfield on a very nice season.

Waynes WorldCongratulations to Norwayne, great team, the final four is a seat at the table
Condolences to Wayne County fans, push back from the table and go easier on the condiments at the next stadium. The traffic issues last night were caused by a Wayne Countian who obstructed his bowel during a pregame snack of 7 sandwiches, 4 orders of fries and 5 hot pretzels. The safety forces just weren't prepared for all those potential health hazards in such a small area.
Congratulations to Brookfield, real nice season boys, best since 78
Condolences to the bottom 4 teams in the WCAL. The champion of your league is tough, but Waynedale, Rittman, Chippewa and especially Dalton are still among the worst teams in the state. Overeating wont change that. I have two words for you fellas----Jenny Craig.
Good luck tonight to Ursuline!!!!!
Kirtland is gonna be tough and their fans aren't predominantly double chinned. -

They will go around 7- 3 or 6- 4 for 2 years and be right back in it after that. The kids that are freshman and junior level are more talented then this years bunch. I admit it will drop off for 2 years but that's about it. :mad:scoreboard;1322095 wrote:No. Ohio is correct. They will suck again for a few years. I beg to differ. I don't even see Clark stickin around much longer tbh. Just my opinion, obviously, not starting any rumors.OkieDokie;1322228 wrote:

History alot of times has shown the success at the lower levels means nothing on the varsity level. I've seen it plenty myself. -

Not sure about Clark either. He does have a 13 yr old son who plays football as well. I know Brookfield has a lot of talent in junior high and freshman level. These our the kids that are my sons ages so I know all about them. You are right though, that doesn't always equal success at an older age. Only time will tellscoreboard;1324277 wrote:I beg to differ. I don't even see Clark stickin around much longer tbh. Just my opinion, obviously, not starting any rumors.

I'm not getting in the middle of that one. A lot of people have wished for a different coach for years now. Some wish him to stay. I really think he might be done after next year but who knows. I wasn't thrilled with our pass defense all year and not being ready for Norwaynes hurry up offense was uncalled for. That falls on the coaching. You have to give norwayne credit though, they played like they had to to win and we didnt till the second half. It was too late by then.I know when the 8 graders and freshman are juniors and seniors they will have a very talented bunch if they stay the course that they are on. Just not sure who will coaching them by then. I hear a lot of good things about the junior high coach, Quinlan, but I heard he is done now that his sons are done. Not sure if that's true or not. -
Spread All DayLOL 3-7 TOPS! Clark is leaving and taking his son with him. He has no loyalties.

Don't worry, I have heard the same thing. A lot of people in Brookfield have. Just don't know if it will happen though. I also know why and it has nothing to do with sports from what I've heard. My sons won't be on the high school team for a few years so unless something changes he won't have Clark either way because I am sure he won't be there untill then. Only time will tell -
Spread All DayYeah I mean who hasn't heard that? I live in Struthers and heard it... No way he shouldn't of got in trouble.
