Legendary Coach Ousted at Smithville
-
Mr MiyagiIf this is true , Miyagi would have to seriously think before letting his kids play for a guy like that..........with all this coming out whether it is true or not , do you guys think this will maybe cost Coach B the job offer ?
-
Red Rum
Bull feces, Miyagi would let his kids shower with Jerry Sandusky if the price was right.Mr Miyagi;1019378 wrote:If this is true , Miyagi would have to seriously think before letting his kids play for a guy like that.........
I'm thinking it could, that board meeting will be interestingMr Miyagi;1019378 wrote:with all this coming out whether it is true or not , do you guys think this will maybe cost Coach B the job offer ? -
OQBFor the sake of Smithville Football, they wouldn't be doing the program justice to leave it to inside candidates. Although I still think Schrock should still be the man in charge, they need to do a state-wide search for the next coach and get the right man in there.
If the back stabbing did occur, that is an absolute shame and really hurts Bescanson's chances at getting the job imo. -
Bloody ToothbrushSomebody should combine the Schrock talk from the WCAL thread with this one.
Man....why do I have to do all the thinking around here. This place is starting to remind me of work.
Now, on to business....
this, and the other thread contain a few truths
for example.......Miyagi would let his kids shower with Jerry Sandusky for cash.
and alot of possible untruths
for example.......Beast probably doesn't have 2 friends.......and Jack Daniels and Jim Beam don't count.
and Ringz probably isn't a bad***,.............. he's probably a fat***
not to mention dontcare.....the only gun he probably carries......shoots water.
The ONE BIG TRUTH here is.....Keith Schrock got treated poorly in the fashion in which he was dismissed.
I'm not overly angry the powers that be wanted to go in a different direction...that's life and it happens.
What chaps my a**, is the manor in which it was done. 35 years doesn't deserve a forced resignation and a gag order.
The board handled this very poorly. The Smithville voters should not forget this at election time. -
JJ68Did a little digging......
President of the Board David Tschantz has 3 Certificates of Judgement against him from 1995 and the status is still listed as Open.
He owes 2 people (I wont list their names) and The Little Beaver Creek Valley Rail and Historical Society.
Interim Superintendent Judy Robinson has was successfully sued in 1996 by Ark Veterinary Hospital for $156.86.
I always like to see the top two positions in a school district being held by 2 immoral people.
Maybe someday David, Judy and Student Council could dine and ditch the Smithville Inn.
Informed voters are the best voters. -

I sent you a PM but I'm not sure if it went through. Can you check on that for me?OQB;1019449 wrote:For the sake of Smithville Football, they wouldn't be doing the program justice to leave it to inside candidates. I was just stating what I observed, if you without dought know this is true, then you have a right to blame Brent on public forums. If this is true then in no way should he be the coach.Birddog;1019077 wrote:Read Mrs. Hartzler post below. My source is inside the ropes and it was his agrenda all along. This is such a shame and shows such a lack of respect for keith. I hope he does not get the job. This type of behavior should not be condoned by any administration.
Just for the record I am not bashing Schrock I have extreme respect for him, my sons loved him and the whole coaching staff. -
mdk939What's the word? How many are planning to attend the BOE meeting tonight to show our disaproval. Lets pack the place and make a scene.
-
1_beastan Ohio Chatter gathering? Will we be tailgating as well? Hmmm I must ponder this.
Would be interesting to sit in, but I think they close the doors... -
Mr. RussellThey have to let you in the board meeting, they don't have to let you talk about Schrock.

a shortened session, moved to executive meeting behind closed doors....not out of the realm, the Admin. are pewping their pants right now!Mr. Russell;1020030 wrote:They have to let you in the board meeting, they don't have to let you talk about Schrock.
Smithville PD gets overtime tonight and may see sheriff deputys as well -
THE4RINGZI am pretty sure the BOE is only going to discuss what is on the agenda in the public forum tonight, and this issue will not be on the agenda.

I just hope the truth totally comes out. I don't personally know Brent and I am just reporting what I was told from a pretty good source, but reading Heidi's remarks makes you think this is exactly what happened. Jealously is an evil creature. I still look back on him blaming the kids for leaving Rittman when he already knew he was going to Smithville. Just leave and move on don't use an excuse to justify it. As my Dad always said don't ruin an apology by making an excuse.mt1514;1019819 wrote:I was just stating what I observed, if you without dought know this is true, then you have a right to blame Brent on public forums. THE4RINGZLooks like more than just the coach will have lost his job with the Smithville School System come election time. The Board is definately monitoring public sentiment about this issue, I am sure they are lurking on message boards, Twitter, and the have read the article in the DR and the online comments numerous times. I know they want this to just go away. Their silence isn't helping them win any popularity contest.

1_beastRiot and loot the village....burn couches in the streets and flip cars....I bet this will get their attention.
Ringz....beers and a Board meeting? lol -
Mr. RussellI am just posting this because numerous people have asked me what power our board has when making decisions involving district personel and how employees are evaluated.
This was taken from the Green Local Board of Eduaction webpage. Take a look at H,L,N, and O.

Dr. KnOiTaLLIt would be great to go tailgating tonight in front of Smithville High School. However, I feel like it would be a waste of time. I heard that if you wanted to talk at the board meeting, it had to be on the agenda three days in advance. So basically, if Ringz wanted to get Judy Robinson's chili cheese dip recipe, he would've had to get on the schedule last Friday, basically, the day everyone found out about most of this.
I'm not going to lie, if you all have read the links that I posted in Wayne County League Football 2011, you may want to go read them. The similarities between that situation and this current are uncanny, and their is a common denominator in Smithville's current principal (who was the principal at the other school at the time of the issue). -

I already made a mean chili cheese dip, no need for a new recipe. And what's up with all the food/fat jokes being directed at Uncle RINGZ lately? I am big boned. -
