He's 6'3 or 6'4: and very fast. I understand he's been very dedicated to the weight room and is getting a bunch of big college looks. Legitimately...who can cover him in the WCAL? I'm trying to start serious football talk. I dont think anyone in the WCAL can cover him. How do you stop him?
That is a pretty big statement but at the same time a good question. Kaleb is a great kid, very hard worker, good athlete, good football player. Everything a coach could want. That big statement could be true. Are there any 4 year starters at DB in the league returning who could use that experience against him? How about any all-ohioan db's from last year returning? What about players with similar or better athleticsm and speed? Any guys or teams that have had success against Kaleb Norwayne? If the answer to all of those is no, then you definitely have your answer there.... -

footballnutI wonder who Mr. Russell is talking about? I was able to attend last years Smithville/Norwayne mud bowl match up. I certainly dont have the game memorized but I dont think Harris even played WR in that game, if he did it was sparingly and he had no impact. I dont think he started until Norwayne had an injury to one of the starters. That being said I dont think Mr. Russells bro hooked up with him much. I do remember, however, Berger having a big game. I remember my buddy saying "they should throw to Berger every play". Smithville was struggling to cover him. That being said, if they struggled to cover berger last year, how are they going to cover both this year?

Harris did play some wide receiver, Wallace overthrew a ball that Harris was about 5 yards in front of the defender, but it was in front of a Soph not Bates or Shane. Those 2 Bates and Shane covered very well all year. I am confident Bates and Shane can cover Harris and Berger but that leaves Smith, Kaneriam, "spelling"? Beery etc.. not covered as well. The only way anyone beats Norwayne is by getting to the QB like Smithville did to Wallace last year.footballnut;1235832 wrote:I wonder who Mr. Russell is talking about? The Artist Formerly Known As Mr. RussellFootballnut and MT you both are very smart. I definitely agree it will be tough to stop Norwayne's offense when you start talking about the other guys like Berger, Beery, and the best player Zimmerly. As a whole that unit wil be extremely impressive again. I just wanted to address the statement "nobody can stop Kaleb Harris". There are other good football players and athletes in this league. I will go back into hiding now.

THE4RINGZI just looked at Hillsdale's schedule on Max Preps. I want to buy The Falcon's Nest for a game, the only two games I saw worth getting were Dalton or Waynedale. I didn't see Northwestern on the schedule but I presume they play Northwestern the week after the Waynedale game. Can anyone confirm that and the location of the game. So if I get The Falcon's Nest for either the Waynedale or Dalton game, I think I can take six people with me, is anyone up for joining me at the game. I believe there is food included in the package. If you have an interest in either game, let me know and I will try to get the game which garners the most interest.

Hillsdale's Schedule

Def going to bid on the NWN game. I know you won't bring the bell up (bad karma). But we will crawl after that and feel free to join us. -

Every time I hear the phrase "Bloody Crawl", I think back to that night and throw up a little bit.Go Falcons;1236133 wrote:Ringz: There will be a lot of good football in J-ville this year.

So after the game, we hit J-Ville pub, Ashland Applebee's, Ashland BW3's, Linders, Kelly's, then head to Wooster. -
Mr MiyagiI say we hit Ashland Applebees last so that Go Falcons can introduce us to his friends. That ought to give them something to talk about.

Yeah, I don't drink any less either. I am never the dd. I will need a ride myself. -
Mr Miyagi
You ride shotgun and Beast can drive. You might have to count me out for that game though. I don't plan on going to any NWN games this year. The Huskies and I are not on very good terms. More on that later tonight.THE4RINGZ;1236154 wrote:Yeah, I don't drink any less either. I am never the dd. I will need a ride myself. -

I'm thinking of keeping it "Team Miyagi" because, well......because I can. I have been informed that Bloody doesn't want any part of the team so I will be taking nominations for new member. Of course I will probably keep him on the team just to tick him off, but it is time for a new member or twoGo Falcons;1236149 wrote:Sounds like a plan!

You will be in the press box on the Falcon side of the field. Nothing to worry about.Mr Miyagi;1236161 wrote:You ride shotgun and Beast can drive. You might have to count me out for that game though. thePITmanI can never make these gettogethers during the regular season. But I'd consider getting an honorary shirt. Haha.

1. I thought we were going to rotate the naming?Mr Miyagi;1236166 wrote:I'm thinking of keeping it "Team Miyagi" because, well......because I can. 2. I was going to make the shirts!
3.Not sure about anyone for full membership, but I think Pit deserves honorary membership for all his hard work. However, I am not sure he wants to be connected to such a shady group. -

*********** all of you.
I used asterisks instead of foul language so I don't get an infraction, but I like the sentiment.
