Doesn't look like either of them had any decisions yesterday. That was a bit surprising to me considering the size of both of those boys.Red Rum;1072727 wrote:I'm not even sure 2 guys will get 50%+ football scholarships-
1. Wallace
2. ?
Realistically, this is a pretty small group. It always is. The WCAL has some nice players year in and year out, but very, very few who are full ride scholarship material.
Paul Kelbly(SMV) & Cody Busson(CHIP) are probably the 2 best shots IMO to get a significant football scholarship. -
oh yeah!!maibach from norwayne has offers on the tables from several d2 schools and wolfe has worked out for a few but still waiting to hear back on paperwork
-
scarface1grades have a lot to do with it also might be why some guys don't have much choice

Be careful what you wish for....if I recall, you guys thought it was a joke last year when it was suggested. LOLOLOLOld Rider;1074642 wrote:Lets hope we see that match-up again!
But...then again, I guess you would "hope" for that match up again...seeing as there is talk of a down year...so "that" match up would mean, in fact, you had a somewhat successful season!
Sincerely,
Two cents from Apple Creek -
riders1But Orrville has only lost to 1 WCAL school in 30 years, mighty bares can't say that
-
1_beastBEARS are struggling...i wont deny that.
Then again...who knows what could of been had we played...it was an almost in 2003....but Orrville lost 2 games short of the matchup and the bears lost 1 game short.
We have wrestling. -

Thats because you were too afraid to schedule a WCAL team.....Low and behold, you are forced to play a WCAL team By the State in the playoffs...and look what happens...LOL No wonder you wouldnt schedule any of the locals other than Triway or Wooster.....LOLriders1;1074762 wrote:But Orrville has only lost to 1 WCAL school in 30 years, mighty bares can't say that  -

Boys basketball is a different story..it is one of the best local rivalries around for that sport. -
riders1Anyone heard of any possible games added to next years schedule when it expands from 20 to 22 games?
