In a pig's eye. Big Red's 7th, 8th, 9th, and reserve teams had great seasons. Big Red is set for many years.

Except for teams like Ursuline and Massillon, they all know playing us is an automatic loss for them. If I were those AD's, I'd turn us down, too.
That Seattle air is making your brain soft. Get over yourself. "they all know playing us is an automatic loss for them". According to you, I can hear big reds ad now..."2yr deal, oh by the way, both games at harding stadium. But we'll give you lots and lots of $$$$ when you play here both years. We'll kick your tail both years, but it will make your program better just because you'll be playing the mighty big red twice at the greatest stadium in ohio, harding stadium. Remember, both games at harding or no deal. Think about it and call us back. Have a great day. Did i mention playing us would be an automatic loss for you both games?"...Don't worry, you still have Div 6 Cardinal O'Hara(1-8) in your back pocket.

Over the past few years, we have signed home-and-home contracts with Massillon, Ursuline, Poland, Columbus Watterson, East Liverpool, Beaver Local, Morgantown, and many more. The only thing we refuse to do is sign a two-year deal to play both games in their stadium.

During the past ten years, we have only lost five regular-season games, and one of those was a forfeit. Those 95 wins included two over Massillon, five over Ursuline, two over Watterson, and two against Buffalo St. Joe's when they were the top-ranked team in New York. Everybody in Ohio knows our record. Yes, if you sign up to play Big Red, you're probably going to lose.

    Who has Creek beaten?

Martins Ferry, Oak Glenn, Brooke, St.C

    Exactly my point.

Actually, I would like to see Creek become competitive so they can play Big Red again. They should play each other in Week 10. All the games should be held in Harding Stadium and Creek should be given a bigger slice of the pie. It would be a great ending to the regular season.

Never will happen. We play Edison in week 10. Maybe week 1 would be awesome. Come down to the Ville to play us every other year.

No offense but I don't see IC making the playoffs next year, the region is going to be loaded again next year. Mooney, Dover, Steubenville, Cambridge, Granville, Northwest, Minerva, Licking Valley, Claymont, and West Holmes return playoff caliber teams and return the majority of the starters and play makers from last year. IC will struggle to get the points needed to get in especially if Oak Glen doesn't have a good year.

At around 11:00 AM yesterday, Cummings and 2 others were involved in a 2-car car crash. All three were hospitalized, but Cummings and another [Jonathan Haught] was life-flighted to Pittsburgh. Long story short, earlier today he was diagnosed with: paralyzed from waist to foot. May God be watching him, his family and friends, and the rest of us.

Is it true these 2 cars were racing eachother and both lost control?
  • FairwoodKing
Who are these people? Are they students at Creek? Whoever they are, may God be with them.

No. But speed may be a factor from the first car with JC, Johnny Haught, and Zach Connor. No news about the second car.

When it hits home, it hits home... Not only Justin Cummings, but now Big Red Freshman Lee West passes away from a fire at his home. All thoughts and prayers are also with Lee and his family. Rivals with something in common... Respect and love. Both teams will be playing for more than a State Championship this year...

Can anyone tell me what hospital Justin is in? I'd like to send flowers.

Mercy hospital. They had his mailing address posted at the benefit yesterday, so the high school has it. I'm sure if you contacted them you could get it.
