I'm scared.IchsCreekPRIDE;1015507 wrote:First of all, we deserved to get to the playoffs. We made it because we out did any other team looking to get that last seed. We were one of the best teams we ever had in our history since the Wintersville-Mingo merger. We were actually one of the better teams in the Ohio Valley this year. We also beat a excellent team in Martins Ferry at home. So not only are you disrespecting our school that we are loyal to, but also insulting the Buckeye 8 conference. Each year, the Buckeye 8 is something to watch. And I say for 2012, Creek will once again shine and I think they may actually surpass 2011's team. And I can also say overall, Creek out-dos Steubenville (football, basketball, academics, band, baseball, etc.). Now get out of here if trying to start havoc. Go to your threads to say that crap. Creek will get you for this one.
I told the truth. If you can't handle it, that's your problem. -

I'm not talking trash. I'm just saying what everybody outside the Valley already knows. Creek is a very average team and the B8 is one of the worst conferences in Ohio. Creek beat eight bad teams to make the playoffs and then got plowed by 68 points.IchsCreekPRIDE;1016275 wrote:Save it for your thread. Don't be talkin trash in our thread.
Creek needs to play one state-ranked team every year just to get the experience of playing top competition. And no, I don't mean Big Red. We Big Red people are fed up with Creek and we don't wish to play you again. -

I'm sure this breaks their hearts. O how can they ever prove themselves worthy of respect in the Ohio Valley if the Mighty Big Red won't play them?FairwoodKing;1017265 wrote:I'm not talking trash. FairwoodKingThere are a lot of good teams outside of Big Red that they could play. They should try it sometime.

What do you call Big Red? They keep playing the out of state teams that they PAY to come play them just so they can beat their A** time and time again and get the #1 seed in D3 R11... They have NO business in that spot. Last year you were ONE AND DONE (just like us) and this year you kicked our rear ends, but LOST to a REAL team in Mooney for what? Like the 6th time in 7 years? BTW, they went on to win a state championship and the sad thing is you could have and should have won that game... It wasn't the refs, it was the missed passes and the lack of class Big Red showed once they held a lead in the 4th quarter and then broke down. You are not as good as you think either. Coulda shoulda woulda, but failed.FairwoodKing;1017265 wrote:I'm not talking trash. I'm just saying what everybody outside the Valley already knows. Creek will never get better unless we keep plugging away at the post season and playing mediocre teams like Big Red. Not last year, and maybe not this year, but you will EAT those words because its only going to take ONCE on our part to throw it in your face for years and years to come... Its coming and you know it. -
FairwoodKingSOS, you are a piece of work. Big Red is considered a state power by everyone who knows anything about football. As far as our schedule is concerned, only a hypocrite would criticize it considering that your own team dropped us. Our schedule more than satisfies our needs. We make a lot of money and we get prepared for the playoffs. As far as our game with Mooney, we came within five seconds of beating them. That's more that anyone else in the playoffs could do.
Creek is irrelevant. If they dropped off the face of the earth, no one would notice and no one would care. -
Steel KING_ icI say depending on their schedule, they could go maybe 8-2, heck I would love to see 9-1. But just wait till 2015! Heard there's gonna be a good squad there.

Big Red is becoming a JOKE. You can beat upon area teams and you can flaunt your S**t all you want, but your number is up. Playoffs-yes, Championships-no. You had your great 84 team and your runs in 2005 and 2006 were great... But whats going on lately??? Your schedule is terrible. You want to beat Mooney, play a better schedule. As for us, we are off in the background getting bigger and better.... Its coming and it will only take once for the entire state to open up on you once we do it... You keep thinking about Buffalo St. Joes, we are thinking Big Red...FairwoodKing;1026731 wrote:SOS, you are a piece of work. As usual, you're talking through your ass. Big Red has a tougher schedule than any other school in the OVAC. And we went 10-0 against that schedule this year. As far as the playoffs, we came within a last second field goal of going all the way.sonofsam;1048936 wrote:Big Red is becoming a JOKE. Even Massillon fears the Big Red. After we beat them in 2009, they won the region in Div. I and came within a whisker of going to the state championship game. And yet we completely shut them down. This year we beat 3-tiime defending state champ Ursuline on their own field. That St. Joe team we beat this year had the 8th ranked qb in the country. They were ranked 2nd in big schools in the state of New York when they came to Steubenville.
As I said before, Creek is irrelevant. Until they at least win the region, don't talk to me about them. -
bigred_dadSOS, You are something else, man you remind me of someone with no kids trying to tell someone how to be a good parent, or a single person talking about the perfect marriage. And then here you come, from a school with only two playoff apprenaces in the school history trying to tell a school that only missed the playoffs what? four times since 83? how to make a schedule on winning a state title?! The same school that put up 68 points on your squad and could have put up much more. C'mon man!
How sitting at Kettlewell Stadium are you going to tell anyone that you know anything about the teams we play? what by watching highlights on WTRF or WTOV, reading the newspaper? You are so worried about who we're playing, I believe never read anywhere, you bragging on how Indian Creek should be playing the Dovers, Massillons, Mooneys. So when you jump on their bandwagons because they be us, you know somewhere down deep in your cold hating heart, no matter how much you feel every year, this is your year, every year you are getting stonger, faster, smarter. You know whatever those schools do to Big Red it would be much much worse on your Redskins!
Indian Creek is the same size as Steubenville, which means there is no excuse why the Creeks AD can't call Dover, Massillon, Mooney, Ursuline, Canton Central Catholic, or Akron Butchel for a game. Better yet! Go over to their websites and brag about how you feel Indian Creek could hang them, and see how quick your feelings get hurt by them laughing you off their boards.
What makes me sick more than anything, Wintersville Warriors would of went toe to toe with "ANYONE" in the state, and talked smack on anyone! but those days are long gone. -
sonofsamIt is what it is... You want to knock us for our schedule.... Look in the mirror. Gets you a home game, but it also omits you from playing for a title.

Beat tiny Div 6 Cardinal O'Hara(1-8) from New York. You couldn't pick up a bad Div 6 school from maybe Pennsylvania, West Virginia,Ohio instead of having a team travel all the way from New York?FairwoodKing;1048962 wrote:As usual, you're talking through your ass. We played six Div. I teams last year. That's more than any Div. III team except maybe Mooney. The fact that we had one Div. VI team means nothing. -

Ok, where has your schedule got you? TWO playoff games in 15 years. In your own words, your Creek is thinking about Big Red. Do you really believe Indian Creek will get to that level in the Buckeye 8? Not knocking the B8, I really like how it works for the other schools in it, but I feel Creek has too much talent and pride to be playing in that league. Why can't Creek pick up teams like Dover, Watterson, Butchel, Niles McKinley, go into Pa and play a WPIAL team. Have you junior high or JV's go play massillon, fitch, or Canton McKinley. That's how I feel Creek will move to the next level, start at the Junior High and JV's.
I like our schedule, never felt our schedule was the reason we can't win a title. I never make excuses for losing, plus you what they say about excuses. I never felt putting the blame on the refs, if your game came down to where the refs calls decided how the game turned out, then you didn't have the right game plan to begin with. Over the years I feel we lost to teams that took great advantage of our mistakes, and we didn't take enough of their mistakes. I don't think our schedule has anything to do with that. Last year, Mooney is a great team, Mooney took great advantage of our mistakes, they made the plays when they needed too. And we made stupid mistakes at costly times, that's football. If we would of played five home games and played St.Ed's, St. Iggy, Massillon, and so on. I feel the same outcome would of happened. -
FairwoodKingFact: Practically no one out of Jefferson County even knows where Indian Creek let alone cares. The school is not known for athletics, academics, or anything else.
What to do about it: If Creek wants to be known for football, they need to start by winning the B8 about three or four years in a row and then getting out of it. They need to play one OOC game a year against Dover, Marlington, Sheridan, or a decent Div. I or Div. II team. They should schedule only good teams for the 7th and 8th graders, freshmen, and reserves. If they upgrade their schedule, they may not make the playoffs, but at least they would avoid the embarrassment of this past season. Believe me, anyone from any other part of Ohio who saw the 68-13 score knew that Creek didn't deserve to be in the playoffs. -

Didn't even need to read past this. Your schedule is a joke. You think your the best football team the country... Play a schedule that gives you the right to believe it. You guys should be winning state titles every year being as good as you think you are...bigred_dad;1051524 wrote:Ok, where has your schedule got you?
And tell me this... WHO in Ohio at the talent level that you claim to be at gives two S**ts about Big Red? By the way you make it sound, the entire country FEARS big red and is afraid to schedule them lolFairwoodKing;1051544 wrote:Fact: Practically no one out of Jefferson County even knows where Indian Creek let alone cares. FairwoodKingWe've been to the state title game six times. What have you ever done?

bigred_dadyou have the freaking nerve to call out our schedule, but refuse to answer about your own schedule. you are a hateful person and talking to a hateful person will get me know nowhere. Because I have never said any of the things you posted.

Every year our AD makes about a hundred calls to schools in Ohio to try to get games. He gets turned down almost a hundred times. Except for teams like Ursuline and Massillon, they all know playing us is an automatic loss for them. If I were those AD's, I'd turn us down, too.sonofsam;1051893 wrote: And tell me this...
