I never "threatened" you... You posted a threatening post and I responded. Sorry, but I do not take threats lightly. If you want to bury it at that, Im good with it and lets move on...ManO'War;938861 wrote:His latest threat was against me...but he makes them pretty much daily.

That is a good question and alot of us know the OHSAA makes some crazy choices sometimes ... If Big Red and IC made the playoffs for a second round game .. It would be crazy to go to New Philly .. That place is small and its an hour drive by two team that live next to each other .. My guess would be Martins Ferry .. Its alot bigger than New Philly and it has turf and plenty of standing room as ten tousand people atleast wouyld attend the game ... It will happen someday .....Lakebluestreaks;937736 wrote:Just out of curiousity, say both Steubenville and Indian Creek make it in but don't play until the 2nd round. Where would that game be held? What stadium would be best around there? Would they make them both travel to New Philly?
Id like greedy OHSAA to change the format to the higher seed getting a home playoff game in the 1st 3 rounds and then play at a neutral site in semis and championship game ... That wouldnt just mean that the #1 seed would have a home game for three rounds it also means that a lower seeded team could get a 3rd round game at home etc etc the possibities are endless .. All the money goes to the people of Canton and Massillon as they hold 20 playoff games a year .. IMO somebodies palmes are getting greased and have for years ... They kept adding playoff games even though schools are consolidating .. Its all about money .. i believe the OHSAA is as corrupt as any political party.. think about it ... Buy a playoff program in the 1st 3 rounds .. its 2 sheets of paper .... They used to have great programs in the lower rounds atleasst info on all the teams in that particular division and attendanec records and other nice little reads .. i can go on ,but that subject deserves another thread title. -
ts1227Salem vs. Steubenville didn't even fill Quaker Stadium (regular stands were packed, but end zone temporary seats were barely used by either side).
It would hold everyone especially since it has standing room. -

I agree... It would either be Ferry or StC with the seating advantage going to Ferry.Thinthickbigred;939612 wrote:That is a good question and alot of us know the OHSAA makes some crazy choices sometimes ... Nice to look ahead, but we still have 2 more games to win first... -
LocoEngineer66I don't think the higher seed getting home game first three rounds would work too well. Too many stadiums don't have turf.
If Creek and Big Red played second round I think they would send them to Fitch. Creek would have to pull off a huge upset to get to second round anyway. -

Did he challenge you to a duel? What did you say to cause this violent act of aggression? LOL your one of the good RRR's. Were you spreading the love between Indian Creek and Big Red.ManO'War;938861 wrote:His latest threat was against me...but he makes them pretty much daily.

Does Fitch have turf now? I could've sworn the last time Big Red played there that it was grass.LocoEngineer66;939690 wrote:I don't think the higher seed getting home game first three rounds would work too well. Too many stadiums don't have turf.

LakebluestreaksI didn't mean this year necessarily. It was more of a hypothetical. I was just using these 2 because they are so close and the only stadium right there would be Harding, but that's why I picked 2nd round. I just know how the OHSAA is and it wouldn't surprise me if they would send the game to Columbus or something stupid. I was just looking for opinions.

sonofsamCreek moves up with a 47-6 win over Buckeye Local. One week at a time.

Brutusi dont think you moved. just held your ground
-
I Am AhabNice win IC. Impressive. Let's get that week 11 matchup at Death Valley booked.

With Martins Ferry beating St. Clairsville giving us some much needed points and Sheridan losing, we should jump Poland. It is possible for Creek to finish in the 6-8 spot.Brutus;941283 wrote:i dont think you moved. just held your ground -

Rather do it week 12 at a neutral siteI Am Ahab;941520 wrote:Nice win IC. Impressive. Let's get that week 11 matchup at Death Valley booked. -

So you want BR in week 12? That would be perfect for BR because that would mean that Creek beats Dover Mooney or Minerva in week 11???? Let's not buy those week 12 tickets just yet pal but Steubenville would be rooting for you in week 11 I guarantee you that.sonofsam;941547 wrote:Rather do it week 12 at a neutral site -

I was there and it seemed filled to me ... We are not going to NP when we could go to MF or ST C heck even Wheeling Island if the OHSAA lets us ..ts1227;939626 wrote:Salem vs. Steubenville didn't even fill Quaker Stadium (regular stands were packed, but end zone temporary seats were barely used by either side).

Why does Big Red want to play Creek so bad in week 11?I Am Ahab;941520 wrote:Nice win IC. Impressive. Let's get that week 11 matchup at Death Valley booked. -

Some people are merely motivated because of the rambling of one poster. They think if Big Red bashes IC in to the ground in the playoffs, it will shut that poster up. Others just like the local team making it.holdingout;941782 wrote:Why does Big Red want to play Creek so bad in week 11? -

Shut me up?=Hahaha

I Am AhabI want Big Red to smash IC in week 11 because nothing would burn Samantha's ass worse than that. And we would get to hear some very creative excuses and even some off topic ramblings. It's entertaining for me to see a grown man reduced to that.

I agree alot of Big Red fans just want to see Creek get in for respectable reasons. I would hope we meet you in round two, but we Creek fans want a smell of week 11. Its a big step in the right direction.Bigred1995;941797 wrote:Some people are merely motivated because of the rambling of one poster. Im not worried about Big Red... We play Edison this week. If we get to week 11, All the coaches and players that are constantly put down week after week should gain some respect. I'm not worried ONE bit about Big Red unless we play them. If we do, it will most likely be week 12. At that point in the season, it doesn't matter what team we play, or if we win or lose... It means we are heading in the right direction and are willing to step up and compete. Big Red has a very good team and if we get to play them, we will give them everything we have.I Am Ahab;941912 wrote:I want Big Red to smash IC in week 11 because nothing would burn Samantha's ass worse than that.
