2011 Wayne County Athletic League Football

I do agree with Beast. Norwayne and Hillsdale both seem to be playing very well. It is ,however, a little early to judge how good they are going to be. I think it would be awesome to see them square off at the end of the season for all of the marbles again. I know Beast doesnt want to see that but it lends some excitment to the WCAL when it comes down to the last game.

A Week 10 Showdown is great for football in this area, added to the fact that both teams should be in playoff contention at that time.

While you are right on with that...I have already stated that I dont foresee the table getting run ....It happens almost every year in the WCAL....SOMEONE steps up and wins a game they are not supposed to...I also stated earlier (pre-season) that there could be a 3 way tie for 1st :D.

So if my Bears can knock off one of those teams....and someone else can knock off 1....the last game could be for all the marbles in a 3 way(if they only have 1 loss between them) tie...or a split title (if they both have a loss)

This time he'll be a Falcon fan and he can create a huge war between the Norwayne and Hillsdale. What do you say Paul? How about you Saul?
By week ten if it is still up for grabs we probably will not need Paul/ Saul to stir things up for the WCAL round 2.

That's what Study Hall and lunch period are for!

What a change, it's hard to believe that the posers now jump on the Norwayne and Hillsdale band wagons! So far the Falcons have come out on top of that also, but not by much.

again (and only have 4 home games)?
timken doesn't want too come out at dalton so we get the gate this yr as we are the home team

At least the player's kids will get to see them play.

my concern is the big fullback, we had trouble with him last yr. far as the line goes isn't everyone bigger then us ? all we are saying this is a team that we can beat ! they played two teams that we could compete with.

LOL now that's funny !! but true

ahh - what? You are talking about a 20 minute drive - seriously. This is also a bad deal for dalton - we won't make as much money. Timken brings noone and the Dalton crowd will be smaller than it would have been at home, I don't see how they would ever agree to something like this.

If all you're worried about is the big fullback you better wake up. I know what you are saying, I'm just being realistic here. We will need to play mistake free Football Friday night to have a chance.

Let me try this again this week, Hillsdale wins but it will be close, Norwayne by 2 touchdowns. Waynedale in a ina tight one, Smithville by a touchdown. Rittman gets their first win. Dalton upsets Timken, Northwestern wont hang with Mogadore and Chipps take in on the chin again. It is probably wishful thinking, but I say the league goes 6-2 this week.

Probably $5-$6 . Can't imagine it is more than that. But if the Indians win, it will be priceless.

i don't have that much of a problem with it . it's not like we were going to make alot if it was at dalton ,because timken would only bring 15-20 fans anyways like 2 yrs ago !
