Nice edit Mr. Potty Mouth. That is why your rep power is a 2 you foul mouthed hooligan.luckydog;858781 wrote:your rep "power" doesn't mean jack -
BRFPriceless! RingZ, no wonder you are actually starting to earn that 7 Rep Power!
1_beast: that was a really good description of how to post a pic!......"How do you post a pic?" Hahahahaha! The More You Know! -
Red RumRingz--How was ole' Rick "Close Pursuit" Nolletti doing? Ya gotta love a teacher/aspiring rock star who stored his pink equipment trailer behind his moms house. Ahhh....the 80's.
Syd--Thanks for the update, The QB situation is troublesome. What little I've seen has me thinking the sophomore is talented but raw, probably better suited to DB/WR. The junior appears wild with his throws, also a good WR candidate. The senior, hopefully gets the shoulder healthy because I think he gives the Huskies the best option at QB. Thats my preliminary take.
Beast--Lumping me in with Bloody? You can't even imagine my consternation and bewilderment at the thought of a comparison between myself and that nefarious misanthrope.
Miyagi-- 6 situps in 59 minutes!!! Take that Beeeeeeeeyatch.
GoFalcons--Do the Falcs travel to Delphos this year or was that a one and done last year?
Bloody--Drive fast and take chances. -
dhs22pHillsdale plays Bucyrus this year. DSJ was a one and done.
-
THE4RINGZCongratulations RED RUM on utilizing that word-of-the-day calendar you recieved as a Christmas gift in 1998. You are a linguistic overachiever. I didn't speak with Close Pursuit last night, just sat in the corner questioning how I don't speak english so good.
Bucyrus had a great 7 on 7 earlier this summer. Not that 7 on 7's are a good predictor of in season success, but it seems they are able to move the ball via Air Mail. Should be a great match up for The Jeromesville 11.
And yeah new guy you can hang out with me and learn some stuff, just be sure to bring your credit card. I get thirsty after those scrimmages. I will fill you in on some of the smooth operators on this thread. Some of the stuff simply cannot be said in a public forum. -
thePITmanI have good news and bad news.
Good news - We won our tournament softball game tonight 17-1 in 4 innings.
Bad news - We now play tomorrow night at 7pm, and 9pm if we win.
So, I will not be able to attend the Waynedale/Tuslaw/West Holmes scrimmage. Grr. I look forward to hearing how both that scrimmage and the Northwestern/Triway/Wooster scrimmage go on Saturday. But hey, I'm still on track for attending the Dalton @ Fairless scrimmage Saturday morning, not that anybody cares. Haha. -
1486wdpit - I may be the only one, but I care

Go FalconsFalcons scrimmage Tusky Valley tonight. Will get the first look at this years squad.
Too bad it won't go late enough to try out the new stadium lights.
Red: Many Falcon Fans wish we could have a back and forth with DSJ they were great kids and a great bunch of fans. Many of us also believe that game set up the rest of our season. Bucyrus should be a good match for the Falcons and they make our non league lineup a lot stronger.
Beast: You know that you were actually the inspiration for the Falcon Bell don't you? -
1486wdgo falcons - did you guys drop mapleton? (i hope). I always thought hillsdale's non'league was a real problem for them, it just didn't prepare them. So often, they would start 2-1 or 3-0 and finish 3-7 or 4-6. Loudonville I understand with the rivalry but Lucas and mapleton are another story. I realize they are neighboring schools, but there was no real rivalry there.
-
riders1Falcon's 1st 3 games this season are Mapleton, Bucyrus, and Loudonville.
Mapleton hasn't had any decent sports teams in years. -
Go FalconsWe are still playing the Mounties. Some of us are wanting that to end also, but there is a bit of a rivalry that goes back to Hayesville being in the Firelands. Some keep hoping that Mapleton can rebuild after the pay to play and some of the other problems of the past. Keep in mind Hillsdale still needs to beat the Mounties 11 times to tie the series and up until the last few years it was a toss up who wins. Mapletons numbers are up and they are seeing success with the current Freshman. We hope they can come back.

CatatonicWent to the Rittman/New London scrimmage today. Rittman is running a 5-wide, no-back offense. Not very impressive. Didn't look very good on defense either. It should be a very interesting year for them in the WCAL.
-
Old RiderThats what Rittman should have expected..nothing new with Coach Dennis. His boy is the QB and just ask the West Holmes folks how that turned out for them when Dennis's older son was their QB. They threw a thousand times per game. Stats looked good for his son, but it DID NOT EQUATE TO WINS!

thats what i have been hearing.. i ran into a few West Holmes people over the past month and they are not very fond of him. Bauman's backup last year was a sophomore now a junior who is playing WR! he was a pretty good Qb last year and could of started on a few WCAL teams but they wont even give him a chance at the position!! -
Old RiderWhen his son graduates, I predict that Coach Dennis will step down. Good luck Rittman!
-
madman11demoralizer- i agree hooser would be a good fit.....so far i think that kid may be the top athlete in the school behind horner.

was_that_itJust got back from the Hillsdale/TV scrimmage. Can't be too critical of the first scrimmage. Don't know much about Tusky Valley, had some decent size, appeared well coached. One wide receiver had some very nice catches, one linebacker had good size and aggression. Both lines had good size. Hillsdale is young at a few positions but overall it was an encouraging effort. Both teams had good plays and bad, typical first scrimmage. I will say this, Hillsdale's run D appears to be very above average...again. Next week against Crestview will tell a little more, as Crestview's running back is a stud. Definitely will look to see improvement in all areas next week, the Hillsdale teams the last few years have done this and I expect the same. Hillsdale surely didn't appear to be world beaters, but in time who knows.
Go Falcons whats your take? Didn't see the bell tonite....saving it for the real thing huh? -
THE4RINGZWhat about TV's quarterback? The kid has shown some awesome potential just curious to see if he is what I expected.
-
1_beastJust got home from The Bears and Tuslaw/West Holmes scrimmage....and let me tell you........
The Gerbers Chicken was damn good!!!! -
Go FalconsI was pleased with Falcons tonight. Thought the lines looked like they are going to step up to fill the big shoes. Kline's experience from last year at QB showed. I think we need some work in the D backfield and at WR I would like to see a stronger presents opposite Licata. Over all I thought they looked better than last year at this point.
TV had a decent mix on offense the favorite WR was 22 on mostly out routes. O line appeared off from last year we were able to get around the out side a good bit. D line was ok but we controlled the line fairly well. QB had a good arm. -
THE4RINGZAnd the bears looked ..........?
