That is the way a lot of them are this weekend. Attendance is way down over 5 years ago because people know who will win the games when a private school plays. It is ridiculous and more and more people are not coming to the games
Im going to call BS on this.
The reason the Attendance levels are down, is because the OHSAA allows the Championship games to be shown LIVE!!!!
Stop showing them live, and attendance will JUMP!!! -

Also, if you want to see attendance levels back up.
Go back to just the top 4 schools from each region. Will make the playoffs shorter, and better chance of better weather.
Who wants to go sit in 20 degree snowy weather to watch two teams you dont care about? And moving them to C-bus, will NOT solve that. Its not a dome, and will still be cold. Plus, 3900 people in the Shoebox, for a Div II game? Big mistake moving them there, but, they will learn from their mistakes,,,,, I hope. -
Red Rider NationThey have been showing them live for 12 years. Where have you been. No its what I said - people arer tired of private schools

If I am a HC, I want to build a program that garners that type of respect. If you are a good athlete in Cleveland, more than likely you will want to play at either Glenville, Ed's or Iggy for example. What's wrong with that?
So basically you want to turn high school football into college where every kid just gets to pick where they want to go. Great idea. We can get scoutingohio to rank all the top eighth graders and what high schools they are looking at and who they get offers from. Rivals can rank each high school and the freshman classes their bringing in. That is a great idea to level out the playing field and keep the competitive balance.
