Loved the game of football as a kid . We played for the schools and we also played pick up all the time . Those were the days before computers and all that stuff of today . We were either playing football ,basketball or stick ball, whiffle ball taped ofcourse, all year long outside from sun up till sun down I was a very good athlete It was all fun ,good times . I think alot of the kid leagues of today are like a job for the kids instead of them just having fun .BTW I never was in a punt pass or kick contest and I was no perfect kid iether . -

Well....The priest could be there for a number of reasons. But we know why the coach is there. -

skankFYI, with all the news about Kyle Kalis, Michael Reghi said today that Kyle was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, but moved to the area his freshman year, and to qoute Mr. Reghi, "to play ball for St. Edward".
Just found that interesting. -

And I'm quite sure a free private school education. -

Free education doesn't negate eligibility according to the OHSAA. After all, doesn't every public school kid get a "free education"?skank;828485 wrote:And I'm quite sure a free private school education. -

Oh, that's where you're wrong pal.
I'd be willing to bet that if we looked closer at the rosters at MOST of these parochial schools we'd find out that this is pretty much standard operating procedure....Especially St. Edward and St. Ignatius. -

It is interesting that many players have transferred "to play ball for Massillon", but it is within the rules. -

If you added enough pages to that tally to include every single one of them, you'd collect all of Skank's similar posts concerning private schools.
