rmolin73Hahahahahahaha sure it is. It will be as much change as a dude with a will work for food sign has in his pocket.

Nobody ever said that no private schools recruit. We also didn't say that all public schools recruit. We did say that Mooney does not, and I stand by that statement.
Sherm: Ding, ding. That round goes to you. -
4cards...mother goose, you have mail!

VikingThe proposal will pass. Not much will change at first, but adjustments will be made. The field will be leveled more and more.

I haven't seen any information that even puts it at even close to passing. -

The public school administrators will pass it. The Coldwaters are in the minority. -

You were pretty sure at first, then you were backing out on it saying that it probably wasn't going to pass.
Now you're back to this old song? What made you change you mind BACK to this? -

What about the Solons, Sylvania Southview, Berlin Hiland, Patrick Henry, Liberty Benton? There are more schools that will vote this down than you think. -
Gardens35Checkin' in, heard that Mother Goose was in the area......

Why do you have Southview in this grouping? If they are so into playing the big boys, why have they only scheduled a parochial school two (2) times in the last 90 games? (I'll be honest, it very well may be more, but Eitel only goes back to 02) -

They should at least step up and play a Christian School such as Red Lion Christian -

Agreed, at least leave the Toledo area. -

What about my post even remotely said that? If you could step back take a few breaths and chill on the crazy. You would see I was mentioning public schools that will vote this down.
But since you brought it up Southview made a move in the right direction by scheduling St. Francis we won one and lost one the other private school we played we destroyed. But I have stated before I wish that Southview would drop Rogers or Start and play a team from outside the Toledo area. But irregardless I know the
boys will play whomever the AD schedules.
I was talking to a few of the players today at a track meet and they pretty much told me the would rather stay put in D1 to have the opportunity to play the best. -

No kidding.
Or, even better would be to just quit keeping score. -
mvredAustintown Fitch nailed with recruiting violations in baseball. They must forfeit all of their games now. They recruited two brothers from Puerto Rico lol:

Rocket08Where the heck does it say they "recruited" anybody illegally?
That's just stupid. The kids weren't legally adopted here by family members. To hold that against 2 kids that moved here to better themselves from a crappy environment in Puerto Rico is low.
I'm not talking about the OHSAA, they have the rules and they need to be followed, I'm talking about the wording of your post -

I live in Austintown and for years now have been attacked by Fitch fans about how we always recruit and this and that. Well look what school has the violations.. Not Ursuline.Rocket08;764028 wrote:Where the heck does it say they "recruited" anybody illegally?

Rocket08Understood
But they're not recruiting violations. They're eligibility and reporting violations
Big difference -

What part about your post says that? Listen, I know what you're doing, you're playing the, "we're tough, and we're not afraid of anybody", game. Implying that SS will vote it down. Yet, when I checked, you guys have SCHEDULED two (2), games against parochials in the last nine years....And it was against the same team, they, btw, aren't exactly a power house. And you know how those teams will vote how? -

So you lie to get even? The only difference is they are telling the truth about you guys. -

Ursuline got hit with recruiting violations?!
When did that happen?!!? -

If thats what you got out of my post then you're slower than I thought. The schools I named will vote it down based off of their success such as Liberty Bentons girls basketball, and Patrick Henry in boys baseball. But saying St. Francis isn't a powerhouse (which I never said they were), they do have 2 State titles won on the field something that has eluded your Tigers. One of them happens to be a D1 title as well. So if they're not a powerhouse then you know, do the math yourself. -

POW
Right to the choppers -
rmolin73Rocket08 that clown skank makes a fool out of himself on a continual basis. What I posted mentioned nothing about a schedule or what team has played another. Most schools that I mentioned rarely if at al play private schools until the post season. But yet he chooses to to say that I am playing the tough guy role and saying we would play anyone, anytime. When the kids will in fact play whomever is scheduled just like most kids. Its the adults that whine and cry and give their kids an inferiority complex.
