Shuffler's law: ONLY PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS RECRUIT. Public schools only try to LEVEL the playing field.
Red-I never said that, but, you're close. -

And the OJ Mayo North College Hill teams? -

Massillon vs Seven County All Star Team.
It's THAT simple.
I sincerely hope your mentality isn't shared by those in the program or the rest of the fanbase. If so, you've already seen your last title.
Sad. -

Who knows, maybe they read the Keith Dambrot book of "assembly". -

Has Eric Williams enrolled at Ignatius yet? -
skankcrickets.

Yes...and there will continue to be crickets, at least from me. I'm mad at myself for even responding right now. But nothing I (or anyone else) say, will change your mind. You will continue to hate the private schools and think they cheat and recruit. And nothing you say will change my (or anyone else's) mind. I will continue to think that those who support this proposal that the OHSAA will be voting on are nothing more than people who know they can't compete with the private schools.
And since you don't answer questions when they are posed to you, it is kind of a one-sided conversation and isn't really worth it.
So yes, you can gripe and whine and complain all you want about recruiting and transferring and blah blah blah. But...at least from...you'll continue to get crickets. -
coyotes22this thread is still alive? Good grief!

rmolin73It is done.

Con_AlmaWhen's the "competitive balance" proposal vote? Shouldn't it be coming up soon?

Should be the first half of May. -

How would a Mooney guy know anything about Iggy? -
skankHe sure seemed to be an expert about the kid from Oregon, (Massillons current QB), who's dad got transferred to Ohio for work. I just thought, since he's so smart, he may know about the new Ignatius QB from Oregon.

I never once said anything about a kid from Oregon at Massillon. I never once said Massillon recruited. I never even hinted at either of those two things.
I don't know who has transferred in or out of Ignatius. I went to Mooney, and now live in Cincinnati.
So go back and read the thread again...because you're trying to be a smart ass with me over something I never said. -

I believe if YOU, go back and read the thread, you'll see that I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about Bundy, In post 2087, I asked the original question with a quote from Bundy.
Don't get so flustered pal. Relax....Take a deep breath and count to ten....Do whatever you have to, but for goodness sake, relax man. -

Then why do you quote my post...bold a portion of it...and ask the question to me? -

How did I have anything to do with Massillon getting a corporate sponsor from Oregon for their combine and then bringing in a top QB from Oregon? As far as I know, Massillon didn't break any rules this time. I just think you are a hypocrite when you criticize other schools and accuse them of doing something that Massillon is already doing. -

Look throughout the thread, then come back and tell me that you didn't insinuate that Massillon 'pulled" something to get the kid here. -
skankI actually highlighted that particular portion because I was originally going to say, of course people think they can't compete when group A is given advantages that group B isn't given. You were simply the first to respond and I stuck with my original question.

I didn't do anything that you don't do with certain schools all of the time. You whine all of the time. I know you are just a kid, but someday when you grow up you will need to learn about work ethic instead of just complaining all of the time. -

Funny, You say, I know you are just a kid", and "when you grow up", but right before that you say, "I didn't do anything that you don't do".
Kinda sounds like the old, "If he can get away with it then why can't I?
Looks like we'll be growin up together. -

So then know it all, did EW enroll yet?Al Bundy;722181 wrote:I didn't do anything that you don't do with certain schools all of the time. You whine all of the time. Dean Wormer
I know one thing for sure about EW. He didn't enroll at Massillon and that tells me that his parents care about him. NOBODY and I mean NOBODY can argue about the education a kid gets at Ignatius. Of course they have some really good athletic teams also.skank;722255 wrote:So then know it all, did EW enroll yet? -

No, that tells you his parents have money, Not like they're gonna need it, I'm sure Kyle said, "Your money is no good here, this one's on US".
