Is it time for private schools to have theyre own playoffs in football

  If you think my school has recruited, they must be doing a terrible job at it. The farthest they have advanced in the playoffs is the regional final, and they have only made it that far twice.

  Don't know about ducks. Do know. Kenton beat Massie and Alter beat JA and Hartley beat Alter, which was R16's best team.

  What awful awful logic. Sure Alder killed Ironton but Hartley also beat Ironton when it mattered. This is similar to how Alder lost to Alter when it counted. Oh and how Hartley beat Alter when it counted. Wait, I forgot, Hartley just won the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.. I can't believe that people cannot just accept that hartley it the best team in DIV.

  After watching that d-6 game ...No doubt its time to kick these outlaw programs out and let them play themselves ....Its just not fair for a small town like Shadyside to play against a university type football team...........Tell you what take the best kids out of Belmont county and let them play on the same team and that would be a good game .....This is just a big frigging joke... I am steamed even more after watching that d-6 game......Its just not fair plain and simple and I feel for the small communities in particular............I think our points being made right now.....Did you guys see how big and fast Delphose Western was ..Its just ridiculas ...Shadyside was a good D-6 squad....They were playing a good D-1 squad ...not fair at all ...nice class too putting 77 up real nice ..####### ###### !! #### ######!!!!

  I'm a fan of the OVAC in general, but the interplaying competition isn't like playing in the MAC. I'm not bashing the OVAC and I'm not putting the MAC on a shrine, it just is what it is.

  Shadyside played a very tough D-6 schedule...No it isnt the MAC but it was a very nice schedule I have seen it ..They were playing a good D-1 outlaw program .....this crap is starting to wear on me ....I just hope Buhctel wins it ....They have a legit chance...

  I looked at DSJ schedule and guessed that they played 9 to 11 teams better than Shadyside this year.

  I graduated from Alter over 45 years ago, where I was a football starter. Two brothers and three sisters, a son and daugher attended Alter, along with a nephew and five nieces. We've had family at Alter in every decade since it opened. Over 25 athletic letters, 10 of them in football. I think I know something about Alter and the football program. What's your point?

  Why would Alter send a letter to a jr public school student? Just marketing right?

  So this question is mainly geared at the people who fully believe that this game alone is evidence that the privates need their own playoffs (i.e. thinthick, cardsflyinhigh, Be Nice, et al.)...
  
  If this game was St. Henry (a public school) vs. Shadyside...and St. Henry won 77-6. Would you be as upset?

  Alter sends letters to any prospective student who has or might have interest in attending Alter. The contents of any letter talk about the great features of a school that starts with a religious culture, academic excellence, social activities, athletic opportunities, music and art. I get the Kettering Schools newsletter every couple of months, as does every resident of Kettering. Nothing wrong with any of that.

  The same reason why Cincinnati public schools would take out a FOUR page, full colored, advertisement in the Enquirer this week explaining to kids that they can pick any high school in the Cincinnati public school district and pointing out the positives of each school.

  THIS, is what's hypocritical, You can't say team A would beat team B, if they didn't play....hence, the answer doesn't exist. Unless, you have a crystal ball.
