Diebold is now a branch of WHS? -

Well, let's see how stupid I am....the 3 years you speak of, 07-09, St. Ed lost 16 games....so there goes my argument, correct? Wait, lets take a closer look at exactly WHO they lost those 16 games to.
07
Strongsville
Euclid
ST. XAVIER
MOELLER
ST. IGNATIUS
08
ELDER
ST. XAVIER
MOELLER
ST. IGNATIUS
ST. IGNATIUS (playoff game)
09
Mentor
Inkster
ELDER
ST. XAVIER
MOELLER
ST. IGNATIUS
Twelve (12) of those 16 losses are to Parcchials themselves.
Over that same time span, they are 8-4 vs publics.
Pretty sad when a "non factor" goes 8-4 vs publics huh?
Who looks stupid now? -

The best I got for what? You asked. I answered. -
skankA closer look will reveal, that in the 'parochial playground', known better as the OHSAA, over the last three years, (fish seems to want to concentrate on the last three years), Parochials have an overall record of 77-20 vs Ohio publics in DI. Without Glenville, Colerain and Mentor, those numbers would be even uglier.

Over that same period of time Glenville, Colerain, and Mentor are 61-7 against Ohio public schools. Their record against Ohio publics is more impressive than the private schools that you picked. Maybe some teams just have good programs. -
FairwoodKingI've never been a supporter of separating the publcis and privates until now. I saw Ursuline play this year, and believe me, they should not be in Div. V. It doesn't bother me that Ursuline beat my boys from Big Red, because Big Red plays mostly Div. I schools and we are used to playing above our heads. But the blowout against Kirtland was disgusting. Nobody can compete against a team that recruits that many Div. I college players. And even though Mooney had a down year, they still fall into the same category. There is clearly something wrong, and it is time for it to be fixed.

I'm not concentrating on anything. You were the 'tard that suggested that Ed should be penalized for having one dominant season in the past 8.skank;569692 wrote:A closer look will reveal, that in the 'parochial playground', known better as the OHSAA, over the last three years, (fish seems to want to concentrate on the last three years), Parochials have an overall record of 77-20 vs Ohio publics in DI. They were undefeated in 2005, till week 14, when Massillon knocked them out. 5 years ago. Just sayin. -

Thank you for helping to prove my point, again, over that same period of time, those three have a sub .500 record vs the same parochs you champion. -

As far as Ed having "one dominate season", please relook at the numbers I produced....And also, the last time I checked, the rules were pretty much even across the board, which brings me to the St. Edward Wrestling and Basketball programs.
And I would have to have taken a shot to bruise, I'm still waiting on the shot. -
Gardens35What do you think is the best rap song ever?

Or in this case, lack of rules. -

Your false assumtion in all of this is that all schools should have an even record and if you take the privates schools out, everyone is equal. How do you explain the 61-7 record of Glenville, Colerain, and Mentor against other public schools if everything is suppose to be equal? How do you explain Massillon's all-time winning record against almost everyone if things are supposed to be equal? Your entire premise is that everyone should have the same number of wins. Your theory is disproven even if we remove the private schools. -

I think its ok for kids to go wherever their parents want ..
Tell me why the private schools dominate per capita every year .............See I believe some of these schools absolutely recruit specifically for football and they can do it with the blanket of being a private school, because they all indeed need to recruit students in general to survive as a school......See what I mean....... They can do this similarily as a college recruits future football players...Are you saying that public schools do this..........Certainly not on the same scale ,and if done it is considered unethical and possibly illegal..... -

I'm actually a public school puke just like you. I just come from the "beat the best to be the best" camp, as opposed to the "stomp my feet and cry because my team can't beat 'em" camp. But I must admit, you've certainly got me thumped when it comes to throwing up irrelevant strawmen and circular arguments.skank;569889 wrote:Care to look again? Why is it ok for Big Red to have kids from West Virginia and even Cadiz Ohio and many towns in between transfer to their school to play football but when a kid wants to go to a catholic school and recieve a catholic education while playing football you claim it is illegal and the school is recruiting?Catholic schools do not need to recruit students to survive as a school, If they are offering a good education parents will sent their child there and many catholic families send their kids to catholic schools because that is how they were raised. The bottom line is education and not always football. -

Ask the father of those kids not me....I said it is ok to go to whatever school your parents want.....education is not about football but my issue is about football .....
