  Lets go devil's I can tell you that i agree to a point... But for some reason campbell rises up when they have too.. And we have beat the refs many times this year and in the past. we get past this week and the refs will be hand picked by the state.... our luck it will Trumbull county refs... lmao!!! nahh im just kidding!!! But i stand by what i said.. campbell plays 4qts with either team it should go Campbell's way.... but my son plays tonight on Indian creeks team.. they are calling my son who plays 9Th grade up. they lost both starting guards. and my son has the only experience. but he even feels that Edison will beat them. but again its a rivalry game... so who knows..
  
  Lets go i can tell you this much i hope to hear you belting out some first downs. and the time to play the game one more time this season. even though it would only take me 10 min to get to Martins ferry. I would rather take a home playoff win any day.... so lets see what Labrae and creek does tonight... ill will let you know the scores when i get them...

  Labrae is playing a Steubenville C.C. team that is 1-8 this season. But the game is in Steubenville. Edison Local (8-1) is playing at Indian Creek (5-4). I believe that is a big rivalry game. My choice is to play at home in week 11 to avoid going down along the river to play Martins Ferry. Some strange things can happen in those games vs. opponents down along the river. I have seen it. Good Luck Labrae and Edison Local !!!!!!!

  A couple of observations from last night.
  
  We finally had some big hits last night.
  We kept our composure.
  Why do we jog down the field on kickoffs?
  Why did #1 start jogging on the 90 yard td run. Thank god it called back.
  Great game calling by coach zetts.
  How many yards does Jales have rushing for the year?

  Congrats Campbell and good luck in the playoffs from Salem! Sorry you're not on the schedule next year...hopefully we'll see you back on the football schedule soon and we'll see you at John A. Cabas Gymnasium in December.

  More importantly by far........Number 44 I wish you the best of luck in a quick recovery. I absolutely hate to see young people go down like that. God speed young man. Struthers QB will give Campbell fits for the next two years. I was impressed with the young man. Number 3, Brooks, wow can he fly in the open field.
  
  Red Devils what a game. Never give up was the motto. An absolute punching match that saw 9 lead changes. J'Ales Hughes is a man among boys at the moment. This junior can definitely change a game in a moments notice. Quincy Little played outstanding on the defensive side of the ball as did Sikora and Benedis. We simply have to get better in the playoffs in our defensive coverages. Alot of breakdowns last night fellas. But one thing is for sure, when it mattered most, the defense stepped up in a wild match up and took the game from a very good Struthers team.
  
  Last night was definitely another historical game to go into the books in what may be the fire we needed to keep this rivalry going. Outstanding!!!!

  Oldschool I agree on the one point you made. There was alot of jogging on kickoffs. We played conservative on special teams and allowed or should I say gave up field poisition. We cannot give every team or any team we play in the playoffs that kind of field position and expect to win. We have a kicker with a boot, he showed that last night. Let him use it and get down there and close up those lanes. Number 1 stopping that far back was annoying in that chase to the endzone. Lets say he would not have caught him.......what if number three lost control of the ball???? That is what annoys me about giving up.

  Hey oldschoolreddev yea it was great seeing us keep our compusure and the big hits its like everything and everyone finnaly all came together I know it was a little late but it seamed last night that everything was clicking all 4 qrts. I did notice us jogging on kickoffs we gave away way to good field position on special teams not sure if it was part of the game plan I know they where trying to kick it away from #3 because of his speed. And also i don't know why #1 stopped and started jogging on that 90 yeard run. I know the coaches tell you never give up not sure why he stopped. If he would have dove he would have had him. But anyway great game by devils. Lets rest up get that potasium in the systems to keep from getting cramps. And lets get ready for either a home play off game. Or to travel Hopefully we get a home game.But if not so be it where in week 11 lets pack up the troops And get READY FOR SOME DEVIL FOOTBALL

  Agree!!! It sure did. and and so did ridge. i thought for sure one of them would win.... man we deserve a home game. 9-1 and no home game... man that sucks ballzzzz... Beat the ferrys...........
  
  I feel so guilty. how do you cheer for your son and know your true hart is 65 miles aways and my son is helping them lose there home game...

  whats the deal with ferry...who would you compare them to. now i got a two hour drive next friday. that sucks. i see they lost to east liverpool who probably was the real worst 8-1 team in the state. they had close wins against struthers, chaney, east, and beaver local and just got slammed by salem. i think that says alot that ferry lost to them. but its all about matchups and are we gonna get hosed down there? idk. maybe. i just hope we dont see a ball bounce off the ground into a receivers chest and it get called a td like we did at chagrin falls.

  We played a similar team. they are like mineral ridge. But slightly better. they are balanced. but they tend to cough up the ball some. I seen them twice on Wtov down here. they are capable of winning the big game one week and squeaking by a weak team. so it will be fun.

  BigT i wish it did work that way. Howland is 10-0 and playing on the road. there was a chance even that they might not get in. but they did. But that's how the computer points roll. and you have to play them there. no choice.. but its up to them if they want to play someplace other then there home. but why would they.. i would not worry unless campbell falls apart. and I'm telling you the coaches will not let that happen. they know what they got to do . and my only concern is the defense. wrap them up and all will be good.

  Well its only 10 to 15 min from me.. I live in Wintersville and i have been going to all the campbell games. closest one was Salem... but the devil's should bring a crowed. just dont know if its Saturday or Friday. hope its Saturday for the people that work...

  D-4 games are on Friday this season. Now, give me some good directions from Boardman to Martins Ferry.
