Clear Fork 7-1 (5-0) @ Orrville 6-2 (4-1)
-
5knotsAny team that cannot contain 3 running backs from the opposing offense is bound to have a loooooooong night. Thank you for that in depth look at "inside the numbers" by JPM. I'll look for you on SportCenter in the future.
-
5knotsThe question was raised earlier on the OCC thread about maybe moving more big games to Saturday.....I have a better idea...let's play this one tomorrow!
-
GoJPM!^No wonder I don't post here much. Condescending half-lifes like you.
-
5knotsC'mon man, really, what do you expect. That is not exactly breaking news. No need for name calling...have another cup of coffee.
-
OQBhaha, I love it when 5k gets people going, I saw JPM on college gameday today!
-
supermanOrrville has 2 distinct advantages coming in:
1. The game is at Orrville. Its 7-0 when you get off the bus up there.
2. Clear Fork has an 800 pound gorilla on their back until they beat the riders. -
OQBAgreed, I think I would also add that our defense is the best the colts will see.
-
OQBThis game could get interesting if the Riders can get an early lead. Have the colts had to play from behind yet this year and come out with a win? That mental part will start sinking in that here we go again we can't beat Orrville.......
-
OQB
The helmets will be cracking next Friday night! -
hippoColts have come from behind to win a couple times this year. Just like Ashland never quit against cf last night, (by the way what a game!!) cf doesn't give up when they're down. CF Almost came back from 23 to 0 at half against Sandusky.

It hasnt mattered where the game has been played....in Orrville, in the Valley, or on neutral fields.....the Colts have never beat us. Call that an advantage, or the law of averages about to catch up with us. -
Mr. 300Points allowed...
1) Lexington 157
2) Clear Fork 161
3) Orrville 165
Points scored
1) Clear Fork 334
2) Ashland 325
3) Wooster 254
4) Orrville 248 -

Which I addressed in point 2. -
OQBMaybe clear fork will play like the buckeyes did tonight.....lol
-
BFaustI have seen both teams play Lex and both play Ash and i'm going with the Colts in this match-up. The biggest diff I see in this yrs Colts compared to previous teams from the valley
is the coaching staffs ability to make adjustments during the game. CF has never beaten Orrville, but then again this coach has only tried once. The only 800lb gorrilla I see is in the
Colts backfield. Good luck to both teams. -
OQBDidn't we play the Colts twice last year, so this is your coaches third attempt to try and beat us.....

I got ya...thought you said the record at Orrville was 7-0....you mean the score is 7-0.superman;522091 wrote:Which I addressed in point 2. Can't even compliment Orrville fans without them a-holes.
No need to name call...completely uncalled for. Orrville posters have been called half lifes and now a-holes since this thread has started. Good to know "class" is alive and well in the Valley.
back to the game....Orrville has been real good about spotting teams 2 TD leads this year.....even if our homefield is worth 7 points, you still have the edge.
Orrville has trailed at some point in each and every game this season (I looked it up).....can't play from behind against CF. -
OQBwe need to get out to a lead from the beginning to have a chance in this game.
-
BRFIt really IS incredible that we are 6-2 with all the horrible starts we have had. BTW, RR1, welcome to the club!
-
RedRider1RB comparison
McCune - 1530 yards on 190 carries - 21 TD (rushing TD every 9 carries)
Simpson - 759 yards on 144 carries - 10 TD (rushing TD every 14 carries)
If Tre is ever going to make a statement...this would be the perfect night to do it.
I hope the coaches remind Tre how good McCune is all week long. -
5knotsI hope they remind Mason as well.
-
5knotsCF comes in a favorite for sure. I am not trying to make a statement or pi*# anyone off it is just plain truth. Look at their production this season and great defense they have shown. Doesn't by any means guarantee a victory and they know that as well as we would if we were the favorite. It will be a very good game and the Rider Defense will be tested like the Genoa game last year. Offensively the Riders can pass and run. They are not dominant in either but effective doing both. That can also be as advantageous as being dominant in one aspect. Lots of sidebars this week. Fun, Fun, Fun.
-
BRFBRF will do his part to remind ALL involved! Let's see, the Rider faithful on here have now been called Bullies, A-holes and Half lifes. Taking the first letters of each spells BAH! Go Riders!
-
5knotsHow about that forecast this week folks! Another great night for football coming up! Nine in a row.
-
OQBHow big is the Colt offensive line?
