Alright. Take him out and watch Dwight Howard's FG% go up to about 80%. I'll take my chances with Shaq making 50% of his FT's...Footwedge wrote:
Yeah right Shemp. Have Shaq on the floor up 2 with in crunch time during a playoff game. Thank God you aren't the coach. Look it up, frat boy. You and your your pud whackin toadies made your claim, and I refuted it. AC was wrong. Look it up. Until you do, I'm done with you.SQ_Crazies wrote: And since I don't play this game like you do, I'll answer your question.
Yes, that was the biggest thing last year. Guess what? This year they've done well against the top teams in the league--very well. Last year they did beat plenty of sub .500 teams. But a franchise record is a franchise record--it means they're doing something better than they ever have in the history of the franchise. So I asked a simple question, which I believe is true but I'm not going to spend the time to look up because I don't care that much. This year's team is better, period. I don't need that stat to hold onto this argument.
And again, if you're picking the Cavs to win the title and you don't think they're better than they were last year--then you don't make a whole lot of sense. -
AutomatikWhy don't you switch teams? Its very obvious that you're having a hard time dealing with success in Cleveland. I notice the trend in the OSU hoops forum also. Glass empty kinda guy eh?
-
SQ_CraziesAnything else you'd like to say to make an ass out of yourself?

Don't make Howard out to be something he isn't. You are just as stupid as your butt buddy Shemp in Y Town.SQ_Crazies wrote:

SQ_CraziesSoooo...Howard isn't the best center in the league?
-
Footwedge
Truly relevant. You sure are slick, aintcha pard?Automatik wrote: Why don't you switch teams? Its very obvious that you're having a hard time dealing with success in Cleveland. I notice the trend in the OSU hoops forum also. Glass empty kinda guy eh? -

Show me a stat where he shoots 80% from the field, you cocksucker. Same old shit. Throw some unfactual crap on the wall and see what sticks.SQ_Crazies wrote: Soooo...Howard isn't the best center in the league?
Logical people play the percentages. Brownie is a logical person. Shaq will have his ass parked on the bench...in the playoffs...during crunch time. Learn to deal with it. -
Trueblue23Settle down Footwedge, would hate to smack you around with the ban hammer
-
Fab4RunnerAre you a child footwedge? You toss out more immature insults than my adolescent cousins.

Footwedge
Don't make claims that you can't factually back up. It's that simple.SQ_Crazies wrote: I'm not going to waste my time looking up stats because you're too big of a prick to read my posts anyways. Plus you'd probably come up with some "per half-second" stats that "prove me wrong" anyways. Since any stat you look up is automatically more relevant than anything else--because you looked it up. Doesn't really matter what they say.. -
SQ_CraziesLOL, I didn't make the claim, I asked a question...
-
hangonsloopywow, footy is hitting an all time low. Why do you people respond to his nonsense?

se-alum2008-2009: Cavs were 32-12 against +.500 teams & 34-4 against teams with .500 or less records
2009-2010: Cavs are 28-11 against +.500 teams & 29-4 against teams with .500 or less records
The difference this year is the Cavs are beating the top +.500 teams(Lakers, Celtics, Orlando).
*This takes into account the record of the team at the time of the game* -
SQ_CraziesThere you go. Thank you for doing the research, I wasn't in the mood to do it for Wedge.
29-4, and is it correct that we've won 23 or 24 of those in a row now? A franchise record. So we don't have any more losses than we did last year--and they all happened early in the season.
Numbers don't lie bitch. -
jpake1You just called another guy a bitch. Oh snap.
-
se-alum23 straight. There are only 2 teams that have beaten the Cavs that are currently under .500, Chicago & Washington.
-
SQ_CraziesHahaha another FootWedge theory proven false.
And I'm the one who throws shit on the wall to see what sticks...haha.
-
SQ_CraziesOh I almost forgot...
In before FW comes back with combined record per minute sub .500 team production based on the combination of Hollinger's PER and the standard deviation of total games played in a season. All multiplied by 2 and divided by the square root of pi which clearly shows that last year's sub. 500 teams were stronger than this years. -
Trueblue23You guys finished yet? lol

The East is garbage compared to last year? Really?Footwedge wrote:
How do you figure the East is better this year? The East is garbage compared to last year.LTrain23 wrote:
Nope. Because you can't compare teams from different years. Too many things change. The East is much better this season, as is the West.Footwedge wrote:LTrain23 wrote: Winning % > everything.
This is what I've been trying to tell you for the last month. Happy to see that you've finally caught on. Last year's team was slightly better in this regard.
Secondly, I'm only comparing winning % this year. We're winning at a much greater clip with Antawn than w/o.
If we go on to win the championship, this team is >>>>>>>>> than last years.
And please stop with the Jamison crap increasing our winning percentage. Do you honestly believe that he is responsible for that?
The East this year will have FOUR teams over 50 wins. Last season they had 3.
Last season, the 5th seed in the east had a 43-39 record.
This season currently, the 5th seed has a 39-30 record.
Last season, the East had two teams at 41-41 as the 6th and 7th seeds. This season, the 6th and 7th seeds are currently 37-34.
Last season, the 8th seed in the East was 39-43. This season, the 8th seed is 35-35. -
jpake1I really do think Footwedge isn't serious and he's getting suck a kick out of this. I can't phathom a poster saying such stupid stuff at times. But then again, I can't phathom a poster typing all this shit just for shits and giggles.
