Titans at Browns in game thread

On top of that, he refuses to get our playmakers (TEs) involved at all. How in the fuck does Njoku only play 30% of snaps when you're marching bums like Britt out there? He needs a real OC.
    This.

Hue doesn’t get a pass on all of this. He’s been equally as bad coaching as kizer has at QB’ing.

If Hue really did want Wentz and Watson, that tells me he at least understands that you need a QB to win. Which would make me think he’s not a complete fucking moron.

The front office guys though? NEXT!

Hue supposedly called Watson on draft night and said "be ready." I haven't heard that he said "to be traded to Houston" after that so I'd assume there was interest. :D

I didn’t think Watson would be good in the NFL, and I didn’t give Wentz any credit last year. Appear to be wrong about both. Didn’t Goff play pretty poorly last year, though?
  • Automatik
I'm also very surprised with Watson. I thought he would be rattled in the NFL and I didn't take any of Dabo's comments seriously.

Wentz I liked from the beginning though, especially after they beat the shit out of Pittsburgh. He made some great throws, also being huge helps.

I also didn't like Watson, he was inaccurate, led the NCAA in ints, fumbled all over the place, has a weak arm, ran a simple offense, has small hands, and played with the best offense in CFB. Nothing shouted NFL starter. I was adamant he was a like a 5th round pick talent. It's still early in his career, but I'll admit he looks pretty damn good.
  • SportsAndLady
Yeah I whiffed on Watson, too.

He’s making us all eat disgusting crow.
  • kizer permanente
FWIW... PFF still isn't sold on Watson, as he's the 28th ranked Qb.
  • Laley23
Watson has played awful teams/defenses, and hasn't faced much pressure (where he sucks). I'm still not sold at all. The best he has faced he had garbage time numbers with like 4 pseudo Hail Marys all caught (I'll give him the subsequent TD passes were pretty nice)

Wentz I was very high on. But that's the same principle as my RB one. Give me guys who don't have an NFL line blocking for thorn and NFL WRs catching for them, for the most part. I almost always want THAT QB over the guy with NFL talent surrounding him.

Sunday is likely going to be a bloodbath in London. I think the Browns D will do ok holding Minnesota's offense in check but Minny's defense is going to feast on the Browns inept offense. Assuming Drango starts at LT, whoever the starting QB is better prepare for pain.

My question and wondering if it's a betting line or not. So I'll ask you all, who scores more points? Browns offense, or Minn def?

If I had to lay a bet, I'd take Minnesota's D. Never lay money on the Browns to do anything positive.

Side bet would be, "does Hue get on the plane in London or is he gone?"

The talent around the QB doesn’t make the QB look good. The talented QB makes the talent around him look talented. Period. There’s no fucking debate.
Omg, what the fuck are you talking about? I don't care how talented a QB is if he doesn't have somewhat of a supporting cast around him...are you really that fucking dense?

Well you’re just stupid then. Watch more NFL and you’ll see that the QB makes the talent around him, not the other way around.

If we had Wentz, Njoku would have Ertz-like stats and someone like Higgins or Louis would have decent stats like Agholor.

You gotta give it up on the “the talent in Cleveland sucks that’s why kizer looks bad”

It’s such an incredibly stupid argument.

    Will Minnesota's D kick a FG?

You tell someone to watch more football then compare Higgins and Louis to Agholor.

Great QB’s make wr’s better but this inverse is true too. Great wrs make shitty qbs better.

God damn it SQ, did you watch Agholor last 2 seasons? Obviously not, you're out of your element, STFU. Thanks.

This. Philly was practically done with Agholor and then Wentz has an MVP season and he is great.

I’m not comparing Louis or Higgins to Agholor. I’m saying we’re all practically done with Louis and Higgins, but if Wentz were here we he’d probably turn one of them into a decent, productive WR.

The “kizer is terrible because he has no one to throw to” argument is pure trash.

Lol you’re a pretentious lil shit aren’t you. I watched agholar last year and this year and yes, I’m not the one who can’t see Agohlar and Ricardo Louis even belong in the same breath, that’s you. So you can kindly STFU and keep your trash takes to yourself. Thanks!

This coming from the guy who predicted the celtics "epic collapse," and thought the Browns had 11 winnable games this season.

I love the irony of you and COA determined to know who past posters are. I was on JJ and yappi a long time and never remember seeing either of you two. Yet here you both are with names never found on either. I vaguely remember S&L at least.

92.3 has a weekly segment with Chris Landry, who was a scout for both the Oilers and then Titans when they moved to Tennessee. Landry said that if Darnold doesn't come out that fans shouldn't fool themselves into believing Rosen or Allen are suitable consolation prizes. He said those two are not as good as Wentz or Watson.

He then went on to rip the front office when they got on the subject of Kenny Britt. Landry said "big guy who can run, that's ALL analytics making that free agency signing, hoping he can turn into a legit player." Went on to mention the front office ignoring Britt's past issues including recently keeping Kizer out until 2am and him (Britt) and other WR's ganging up on reporters in the locker room and cussing them out due to the media being critical of the WR group.

He also mentioned that they definitely need a football "guy" if they are taking a QB high. He said analytics people won't be able to judge a QB as well as a football guy. I agree with him when he essentially said if Sashi is making the QB pick, we're probably fucked.

The problem with this logic is the league is full of “football guys” who wiff on drafts as bad as anyone else. You got John Elway who was one of the best qbs of all time who can’t identify a qb of it hit him in the face.

I was on JJ with a different username. Just like you have gone thru about 5 usernames yourself. Congrats on providing your internet forum resume though LOL.

Of course you were. But unlike you and your bff COA, no ones going thru a past history roster to guess who you were lol. Hence the irony of your schtick.

Yet you are trying to recall whether we posted on JJ or not...

New user name, same dense SQ.
