2017 NFL Chatter

WTF Dalton? Jesus lol. Overthrow much when needing 4 yards?

Wow...lol that came to an abrupt ending! Watt destroyed him

Bengals playing like worst team in the NFL right now.
  • Ironman92
Bengals getting almost as much bad talk as Tribe is getting good talk. I will say this and may look like a fool as the season progresses. I'm expecting the Bengals and Andy Dalton to pick it up and get it going. They've faced 2 very good defenses. I believe they aren't a bottom 3 NFL team, but right now look like it. Tough to see them winning against NFL's sweetheart Aaron Rodgers next week on the road but I suspect Green and Eifort will be big factors and Mixon will get more carries to help them. I think this team goes 6-10 or 7-9....but big big talk about Lewis and Dalton is going to kill them or light the necessary fire under them. I'm betting Dalton (if given two more weeks) gets it going a bit and plays good enough to quiet down the McCarron talk.

If I were a Bengals fan though I would want McCarron in there and see what he can do. He's never been given that full chance.

I wanted the bengals to win that for draft pick purposes. I also don't want them to luck into a franchise QB.

Years ago there were quite a few posters who got butt hurt when I said Dalton is an average QB at best. It's funny to see bengals fans finally turning the corner and realizing he is shit.

When the line isn't very good he's really exposed. I'm definitely not convinced he's clearly better than McCarron

I didn't watch them Week 1, but did the Jags score 30 points on defense?

I've been saying all along that the Browns will finish ahead of Cincinnati in this division.

I think they are pretty close, we'll see. I'm not sure the Browns get to 6-7 unless they can get over hump soon.

Cincy's O-Line is going to get their QB's killed. They have a very solid defense but their offense is hot garbage. Not saying the Browns offense is anything to write home about but at least the Browns have the possibility of an upward trend. The Bengals are what they are...a mediocre QB with one very good weapon (would be two if Eifert could stay healthy).

A very bad team got beat by a very bad team last night.

I'm skeptical Cincy gets to 6 wins and I've predicted the Browns to win 6....soooo.

Bengals haven't scored a td yet, no chance they get to 6-7 wins.

That game was perversely entertaining. Two shit teams, both fucking up left and right in a way that it was hard to tell if anyone was actually going to try to win the game.

Not to mention the unheard of QB rambling for a 49 yard TD, against an NFL defense, in Three Stooge's-like fashion.

ESPN of course is jerking off to this play, but conveniently not discussing his overall stat sheet.

Didn't watch the game but heard he sucked (minus the run) and the Bengals shut him down. Bad offense vs bad offense came down to an unheard of 40+ yard run for a TD by the QB. That shit may fly in some college games but if that's the type of offense you're relying on week in and week out, I'm rubbing my hands together thinking of how high that draft pick's gonna be.

Fairly certain most browns fans would rather have seen kizer have the same stat line as Watson if it ended up in a W....

Yes thavoice, Browns fans would like to see a win. Great hot take there.

What I watched he was pinned deep a lot and set up in standard extra block packages that screamed running play. He had two clutch and clean drives before half and late in 4th. Both were 85+ yards and 10-14 plays.

What I saw reminded me of what I saw with Kizer....a touch less moxy but better running ability

    Thank you.

Really surprised by them letting Zampese go. Bengals usually just wait until their contracts are up. Of course, when AJ Green is complaining, you listen. Now only if he'd start complaining about Marvin Lewis, too.

a QB coach who's never gotten an opportunity at an OC gig in 15+ yrs, that says everything. Reminds me of Brian Dumboll for the Browns, or Mo Carthon. Same situation, long time assiant in the NFL, never got a gig for 15+ yrs. They finally get one and were terrible. Not a recipe for success.

Watson looked terrible. His pocket awareness is almost non existent. He looked to take off running almost as soon as the ball was snapped.
