Terry_TateMarvin Lewis punting at the opponents 43 on 4th and 9 down 20 with 10 minutes to play. He should be fired immediately for that pathetic call.

A shitty west coast sports town not showing up to support their team in week 1. Color me SHOCKED!wildcats20;1871030 wrote:Let's give LA 2 NFL teams.
When rumors started circulating around 5 years ago that LA was trying to get 2 teams, I said they don't deserve one let alone 2. What a joke. -
Heretic
Sad thing is that LA's already proven decisively they don't deserve the NFL when they had the Rams for the first time, as well as the Raiders and sucked at supporting them bad enough that both of them left.like_that;1871034 wrote:A shitty west coast sports town not showing up to support their team in week 1. friendfromlowryI thought that was a very underwhelming and boring day of football. The Seahawks-Packers and Cowboys - Giants games were duds. Only two games decided by 7 points or less. Maybe blame it on week one rust but a lot of teams looked like shit.

That's what happens when you pretty much can't hit in preseason anymore. I'm not trying to be a homer but I was shocked by how the Lions looked. They really took it to AZ in the second halffriendfromlowry;1871077 wrote:I thought that was a very underwhelming and boring day of football. 1. Classy talking about Detroit.
2. Classy disappearing for awhile and then showing up when something slightly good happens for one of his teams.
Detroit is a solid team, but their ceiling is a wild card round loss. They might steal a win depending on the matchup, but they aren't better than GB, Atlanta, Dallas, and Seattle. -
saltoIs it too soon to jump the Jaguars train?
*Who is the better feline team, Lions or Jaguars? -

I do appreciate Jacksonvilles franchise building techniques, get as many great SEC players as possible and see what happens. I know Houston has no QB play but they manhandled them entirely -

Yes. Blake is horrible. He almost lost the job to Henne. If you're asking if they can compete in their division, maybe. It's early, but if Houston is actually that terrible and Luck is out for a good amount of time, I can see the division winner being 8-8 or 7-9.salto;1871121 wrote:Is it too soon to jump the Jaguars train?

Commander of AwesomeWow lot of injuries:
Kevin White IR'd for lilke the 15th time. His career is probably over.
David Johnson down, dislocated wrist
Allen Robinson IR'd tore ACL
Ronald Darby gruesome ankle [havint seen time table for that] -
justincredibleYet Josh McCown lives to play another day.
*I am not wishing injury on McCown, I hope he's benched due to poor play. I'm just surprised he wasn't injured this week. -

Give him time. He's just waiting for the right moment to pull out that airborne helicopter spin move.justincredible;1871165 wrote:Yet Josh McCown lives to play another day.

Danny Woodhead as well. It's amazing he got hurt on the Ravens first drive and yet still leads the team in receptions.Commander of Awesome;1871162 wrote:Wow lot of injuries:

kizer permanenteThe Broncos have the 3 worst qb's in the league on their roster. That's gotta be some kind of record.
