  If you just pick the 12 teams at the left (since there is a two-arrest gap between 12 and 13), you have definitely Denver and Seattle. You can add Indy and Baltimore based on general success in the recent past. Maybe Chicago if you want to go to the farther back past, although they've been more a punchline than a darling over the past few years.
  
  A lot of the teams there have been generally considered to be dysfunctional at best and ineptly run at worst (SF, Jets, Cleveland, current-age Chicago). But Washington is as bad as any team as far as being a dysfunctional shithole and they're one of the best teams on the chart. And Buffalo also ranks pretty good, so you can't even really correlate "poorly run" with "loaded with criminals".

  Minnesota, Mike Zimmer, who is touted as being "a no-nonsense, high-character guy." Same guy who coached those "thugs" on the Bengals, same guy who just drafted Dalvin Cook. Not a single word in the media about the Vikings "reputation."
  
  Baltimore, everyone seems to respect them and their front office. I don't really ever hear them being mentioned with a bad reputation. The same franchise who probably employed the guy with the most infamous act of them all (Ray Rice).
  
  Kansas City and Andy Reid, such a lovable and respected coach, drafted Tyreek Hill when nobody else would touch him (worse than Joe Mixon but without the video) and had a player murder his girlfriend in cold blood and kill himself.
  
  Seattle and Denver, enough said. Both of these teams are well-respected by opposing fans and the media, likely because they have recently won big.

  Seems like every day on Twitter sports media is surprised/outraged that Kaepernick doesn't have a job, and they all chalk it up to his kneeling during the national anthem. Why can't it instead be that he's just not good? It's the most important position in all of sports and imperative to winning football games. You'd think if he showed any promise that a team would sign him in spite of his background.

  Look at the chart Buike posted. Every team is filled with guys who abuse women/animals, drive drunk, assault others, etc. Kneeling during the anthem is where we draw the line, though? He was joined by a few teammates usually and they still have jobs.

  I am sure the kneeling plays somewhat of a role, but like I said if he was good he would have been signed by now. Cutler was/is better than Kaep and he couldn't find any interest from any teams allegedly.

  He is better than a ton of the backup QBs, and every single 3rd string. He isn't being picked up because he is a distraction.
  
  NFL fans/media straight don't care about assault, drugs, etc. They do ask 1 million questions daily about "disrespecting the flag" etc.

  He may be better than 3rd stringers or backup QBs, but at what price? He's not going to take a small contract to sit behind other QBs and he's not good enough to be a starter anymore.

  I don't completely disagree with you. It's a combination of distraction vs not good, but IMO it leans more towards him just not being good.
  I didn't think it was a distraction regardless of what the media did, but I also could really give a shit less about the media. Ticket sales were nearly identical between 2015 and 2016 so I don't think people cared enough to not show up. The team wasn't good either way. If he had played for Denver or Houston, then maybe it'd be a different discussion.

  Kaep is like Tebow. A mediocre guy who's probably capable of being a back-up, but would get so much coverage simply based on who they are and what they've done that they're labeled a "distraction" and get passed over for jobs. Teams put up with star players doing the "look at me!" game, but want their back-ups to be quiet and anonymous, just "good team players" who will step up and do the job when called upon, while drawing no attention to themselves.
