Benny The JetI guess I don't take this series as bad as some of you because I don't think we're the better team. Last year I felt the Cavs were...but when you're getting beat by the better team, you accept it. But if you want to be pissed and online angry because...you know, serious business...go ahead. That's your right to.

Laley23GSW are too good. Through all that, Cavs never even had a true cushion. Never felt they were far enough ahead to go 2 possessions without scoring. That's just too much pressure. Just nothing you can do really.

The Warriors are the better team, but 20 points better multiple times?? It was a hideous choke meltdown in a must win game and to the most hated team. Of course they are going to be pissed off for a bitBenny The Jet;1857532 wrote:I guess I don't take this series as bad as some of you because I don't think we're the better team. They went on that run with Kyrie and it only got to, what, 4 or 6? Seemed like they were up 8-10 and it was a 1 possession game.Laley23;1857533 wrote:GSW are too good. Well no, I agree with that. It's frustrating yes....but at some point you have to tip the cap and hope they figure out how to beat them next time.friendfromlowry;1857534 wrote:The Warriors are the better team, but 20 points better multiple times?? I don't believe that. -

He made the right basketball play. The whole defense collapsed into the paint, and had Korver ... a normally good 3-point shooter ... made the shot, we'd all be thrilled.ironman02;1857524 wrote:LeBron has to be THE fucking man at the end of the game. Having said all that, I wanted the ball taken to the rack, too. That's where our points had been coming from all night.

Yeah, god forbid that we get pissed our team choked away a win by giving up a 13-0 run with less than 2 minutes to go! You're missing the whole point of what S&L was saying. It had nothing to do with jinxes, and more to do with the discussion in hand. We watched this team all year, they had a good run in the playoffs, and you wanted to talk about the off season already. I think the team has earned enough respect to wait until the season is over to get into that shit. Then the Cavs lose in shitty fashion and the first thing you want to do is rub it in by patting yourself on the back for being a step ahead of us on the off season talk. That's pretty pathetic.Benny The Jet;1857532 wrote:I guess I don't take this series as bad as some of you because I don't think we're the better team. You also wanted sprinkle in your best cry4fail impersonation with some holier than thou bullshit "But if you want to be pissed and online angry because...you know, serious business...go ahead. That's your right to."
1. Congrats dude, you figured out the meaning of life! 2. Not really sure why you are confused that Cleveland fans are pissed about a loss. It's like you have never been a fan or around any Cleveland fans. 3. Nice contradiction. You're coming at us for being pissed about a loss on the internet, yet you went out of your way immediately after the game to pat yourself on the back on the internet LOL.
You're a lot better than that benny. At least leave the full fucktard posting to idiots like classy. It's one thing to deal with low life dipshits like him who, it's another dealing with an otherwise good poster on this forum, that for whatever reason wanted to rub salt on the wound of his own team/fans. -

I'm not even angry about last night. LBJ & Kyrie played out of their minds, JR finally decides to show up and Love has outplayed Draymond Green in this series and they STILL can't beat them. Lebron even said in the postgame interview that they (Warriors) are a "juggernaut" and he's never faced this much "firepower."Benny The Jet;1857540 wrote:Well no, I agree with that. Yes, it did look like a "choke job" at the end but KI & LBJ were dead on their feet. Sorry to sound like the beater of the dead horse but this goes back to Ty Lue's strategy in this series. The Cavs can outgun 28 teams in this league with an up tempo pace but they aren't going to do that against a team like the Warriors, that scores at a video game-like pace. Should've slowed it down and gave themselves a punchers chance at the end in this series.
Unfortunately, after Friday night, the worst is probably yet to come. Can already hear the "where will Lebron end up this offseason" rumors along with various other trade rumors. They can't stand pat though if they want to compete with GS. My focus wouldn't be on moving Kevin Love though. It would be on trading a one dimensional center who can only rebound, who has disappeared in these Finals. -

Tristan Thompson has been one of our better players this postseason. He's had a bad finals..because the warriors knew how to neutralize his strengths this year.
Last year after we won, we couldn't stop talking about Tristan Thompson and how effective he is, despite not being a scorer.
Your hot takes are truly something else, BR. -

Call it whatever the fuck you want but this team isn't going to be able to stand pat this offseason and think they have a snowball's chance in Hell against the Warriors in the near future. Golden State has basically created an "arms race" and the Cavs will have to counter. Knowing what you know, would you rather move Love or TT to get something in return? In my eyes, Love can at least PLAY in a series against Golden State. Those are the only two players you're going to get any value for, in return, and the most likely piece is Love. I'd try to keep him over TT though.SportsAndLady;1857567 wrote:Hot take alert!

I wouldn't do a damn thing. It's 2-1 in the finals if we didn't choke a 6 pt lead away in the final minutes.BR1986FB;1857571 wrote:Call it whatever the fuck you want but this team isn't going to be able to stand pat this offseason and think they have a snowball's chance in Hell against the Warriors in the near future. I bet they do something and probably something "dramatic" (eye roll), if they can this offseason.SportsAndLady;1857577 wrote:I wouldn't do a damn thing.
From the fan boy perspective, you see LBJ playing at a very high level, for quite some time. Truth be told, it's probably another 2, maybe 3, years. He's not going to be able to run with the 27 years olds in this league at the age of 34. He's already played (playoffs include) almost the equivalent of 17 seasons. Keep in mind that he's also played this long without a significant injury. His "window" to win rings isn't all that huge.
This has nothing to do with what fans think or want. It's all about satisfying Lebron. Assuming they go down in flames Friday, there's no way he's going to be thinking "oh, we got manhandled in the Finals. I think if we stay pat in 2018 we'll get these guys." He knows his window is closing. He's going to be 3-5 in NBA Finals. I'm sure he's not going to want it to be 3-6 or 3-7. -
