I bet he kept telling Dusty he felt fine and to keep going, but as a coach you need to do what is best not necessarily for a run-of-the-mill regular season game but for the long term. Do or die late in a postseason push or in the postseason...do what you need to do to win like the Dodgers did.
The sun coming in was blinding to the batters while Harang was in. He definitely benefitted from it

    It's dumb announcer day smh

Big ass moment in the 8th. Bases jacked 0 outs, Chappy vs Seager

I hate the cubs but that was awesome

Javy Baez has been an incredible baseball player this postseason.

Why was that not an infield fly rule call on the Baez double play?
  • Laley23
Not hit high enough. Tough break. Could've backfired though, Gonzalez SHOULD have ended that play on 3rd after Russell's confusion.

They're not taking Kershaw out are they?

    Nope...he won't let them. Dusty would've.

Javy Baez is doing stuff I have never seen before. A fielding wizard.

Cubs going to win this though off Jansen.

Top of the order, Cubs are getting at least one here.

    Guessing pretty boy gets him.

To give you an idea how ball is carrying. Baez fly out was a HR 67% of time this year (balls hit 103+ mph with a 24 degree launch angle)....another 19% tripled. Batted .899

This Dodgers team isn't afraid at all. Quite gritty
  • SportsAndLady
    Fuck yeah

Yeah Kershaw and Jansen were absolutely rolling. That's how you gotta attack the Cubs at the plate, just go right at em and throw a ton of strikes. That's when their hitters second guess themselves like Bryant did on his last AB

Saw an interview this morning that the manager went out there with full intention of taking him out, but had a gut feeling when he got to the mound to keep him in. SOmetimes those gut feelings are right...sometimes not

The Dodgers are not afraid of the Cubs at all. They are big market but have found a way to have the huge chip on their shoulder.

Cubs have their hands full and if they don't start hitting they are going to be in for quite the letdown.
  • Ironman92
Oh...and John Smoltz is great in the broadcast booth
  • Laley23
Thank God for replay. Hernandez just BOTCHED that call at first
  • Classyposter58
Chicago looks so bad at the plate. It's like watching the Mud Hens play a major league team, these guys aren't threatening at all
  • Ironman92
    Rizzo with a splintery hit
  • SportsAndLady
Had the over of 6.5, was hoping for a scrubs hit there in the 9th to backdoor a win for me.

But whatever, any time the Cubs lose in the playoffs it's a great day [emoji106]
  • Ironman92
Guessing tomorrow you guys that are a bit younger will be learning a lot about Fernando mania.

Hell yeah! Fuck those guys. Two more losses by them, please!
