Haden is trash. I'd take a 6th rounder for Haden at this point.
Of course JT deserves it, but LOL at Haden. Am I missing something? Maybe Haden is the 40th alternate?

For those that remember, I wanted Shelton/Erving that yr in the draft, thought both were studs. I was ready to bail on both of them after year one, as both were fucking trash. Glad I was wrong on Shelton being a bitch boy, here's hoping I'm wrong about Erving next season.
I also love what I've seen out of ogbah as well. He has seemed to get better every week. Nassib has been solid as well. I'd love to add a guy like Garrett to our d line/ pass rush.

I feel like Nassib hasn't done shit since week 4 (could be wrong). He needs to get stronger and add another move. Love his motor though.

Sure why not, I'm in an optimistic move today.

    Gotta take JT seriously

Solomon Wilcots is ruining my Christmas spirit. Shut the fuck up.

This would be most Browns thing ever...win a meaningless game #15 to lose #1 pick.
  • thavoice
Where would a 2-14 land them in terms of a draft pick?
  • Mulva
    This offensive line is disgusting.

If you're one cheering for a win, can you tell me why?
  • Mulva
Because winning is the point of the game.

How does this win help the franchise? Do you have some sort of personal ties to the players or employed by the team?

Happy for the players and staff giving it their all and don't want to give any available QB #1 money.

    Because Philip Rivers?

    This I could get behind.

Both of those questions are completely irrelevant to the one you originally asked. I'm a Browns fan. I want the Browns to win. Its a pretty simple concept.

I guess my point is if you're a browns fan...then you want what's good for the franchise. How does this help the franchise? A completely meaningless week 16 game? I have no personal ties to the players, I don't feel bad for guys making 100s of thousands/millions of dollars for not winning all year. I want this franchise to be good. And the best chance is by getting #1 pick

A lot of happy die hards in the stands. Good for them.

Hoping to lose is a losers mentality and it's not in my DNA. I will always want the Browns to win. I also don't think the #1 pick vs the #2 pick is a huge difference. Any competent front office SHOULD be hitting on either pick. Also, for the sake of the young players and the coaching staff I am glad they got the win. God forbid young players believe they can win in this league and actually can trust their coaching staff.

I completely get that....if I were a player on the team or coach etc. Just not a random fan. Would you feel different if this were an Andrew Luck type draft? Or even if there were a clear #1, then everyone else...you'd still be rooting for that week 16 win to lose him?

Probably a different tune if we are talking about a QB prospect of that level, but this draft doesn't have any. Irrelevant.

Got ya. I reserve the right to be not happy about this December win if Garrett ends up with 10 sacks next year for the 49ers compared to whoever we swing and miss on at #2 ha
