Supposedly the NFL said this doesn't affect his suspension. He's still a retard though.

Get your emotions in order Benny, you're like a 13 yr old girl with your giggly highs (ZOMG EAGLES GONNA BE TEH WORSTEST) and the QQ lows (WAH JOSH GORDON WAH).

The Pats have a really good system in place from top to bottom where it seems it's easy for anyone remotely decent to step in and they won't miss a beat, which I don't think any Cleveland fan can say they have at the moment, so while Garrapolo might do really good there, he might turn into Matt Cassel the minute he winds up somewhere else.
I disagree that qbs do well in that system. Patriots have drafted 8-9 QB's since tom brady and not one of them are any good..other than Garrapolo.

    You don't trade Josh Gordon.

Just a reminder that Hoyer, Weeden, and JFF have all played a good game before and are terrible.

Do we have to go over this again? The browns have nothing to gain by trading Gordon. They have him for 2 years under contract. Low risk, high reward. They aren't going to trade him just because some fans' feels are just by his idiocy.

Yea, lets trade away all of these other guys for picks and hold onto the 1 guy who will probably not be in the league after this year, just to make this angry man happy.

Anyways...how long do you think it took after they placed Kalil on IR for the Vikings to call about Thomas availability? I don't think he warrants a 1st rd pick anymore, but 2-3rd would be my asking price.

They offered a 3rd for Thomas, I would LOL in their face and hang up.

For a team that gave away what they did for Bradford, I'd be asking for 5 firsts for Thomas lol

I completely disagree. They clearly have something to gain...would I give him up for a 6th? No way...would I give him up for a 3rd-4th? Yes. That's what you can gain. I'll just stop there.

None of them have really got to play in the system, other than Cassel so it is just two test subjects for his opinion.

2-0 with Garrapolo and he looked good.

10-5 with Cassel and he was twice the OPOW that season when brady was hurt, and was the first in NE history, and at the time just the 5th NFL QB, to throw for back-to-back 400 yard games.
He did have one good year in KC a couple of years later but other that just stunk.

Small sample size, but two diff qbs started and did well since Brady took over.

..and I had forgotten about this..wouldnt it suck to go 11-5 and miss the playoffs like NE did in that 2008 season? 8-8 Chargers made it as a div winner but man 11 wins you expect to make it!

    Please do.

Joe's skills have diminished...but with them being in a tough spot...I'd try for there 2018 1st rd pick but doubt they'd get it. Doubt they'd give up 2nd this year seeing how they don't have a 1st.

    I'd take a 3rd and Barr/Rhodes/Joseph/Floyd/Diggs for him.

6th round pick is a little dramatic. Browns wanted a 2nd but its likely we could have realistically gotten a 3rd in exchange for him

Even a 6th round pick is better than a player who can't even stay eligible for more than a few games a year.

Why because he had one good year and has been suspended since?

He's no good to us if he can't play and I don't think he will ever play significant minutes in the NFL. Why hold him if you can get something of value for him?

Know what they say what the best ability to have in the new NFL is......availability. A guy who is constantly hurt, or suspended, does a team no good. Not sure why the Cleveland Nation isnt on your side about this one.

This is probably what the Browns will get for him. He's not worth a 1st anymore unless a team is super desperate and even then it would be a late round 1st for a contender. I'd say 2nd straight up or a 3rd + young talent is his current value. I still think he's solid but he doesn't quite fit into the Browns full blown rebuild.

Stupid people tend not to be on my side. When you filter out emotion and use logic and reason to predict future events, you end up being right far more often than wrong.

Holding onto Gordon is an emotional decision; he's overvalued for what he brings to the table and this is a good time to cash in on that overvalue before he ends up homeless panhandling for a living.

We have 21 drafts in the next 2 years (not including comp picks). It's ok to take a risk on a guy that was once a top 3 wr in the league and still is young. Or we an just keep trading away taken, because that obviously is how you develop a team of talent!!

Emotional? I'm pretty sure we all think he is an idiot. It's a no lose situation to keep him. If anything is emotional it would be trading him at this point, because QQ he is not a Boy Scout!!!!

He could be the best WR for all I care; he's not going to help the team sitting on the bench for being a complete moron.

It's a no-win situation to keep him when you can get a decent pick in exchange for him sitting on the bench for another team.

No one says that. You said it. And you're an idiot.

Knowing that sleeper thinks Gordon would just get in trouble again and keep sitting on the bench makes me pretty confident that he will be a long time starter for the Browns and never get in trouble again.
