2016 Browns Season Thread

I still think you all are overreacting on Carson Wentz, but I knew the eagles were gonna start off strong after back to back jinxes coming from icl and benny. I blame you two.

sorry for interrupting but S&L if you aren't down enough you can flip over and watch Chapman face the Reds in the 9th right now

Rather kill myself than watch the Cubs

Not saying he wouldn't be good here, but to say he'd be playing the same is a little much. For one he'd probably be injured already.

No one is saying the Browns would be 2-0 under Pro Bowl bound Carson Wentz lol

Just that, we need a good QB, and we could have gotten one.

Jinxes are for losers. But, if you want to blame me for them beating 2 really bad teams...go for it. They'll be better than I thought, but lets slow down a bit seeing how they beat the Browns and Bears. Sadly, the Browns OLine may actually be better than the Bears...that was an absolute train-wreck.

Why is Lane Johnson just now starting his appeal of 10 game suspension? How was he allowed to play?

I get that. But we can still get our QB and more with what we picked up. I think the hope is Drango, Coleman, bitinio, Greco, etc become a solid line by the end of the year plus WRs take a year normally then you add your QB to that recipe next year.

Qbs take a year or two to really get going though.

I wouldn't be against sending phillys first rounder to New England for Garrapolo.

Ok. Bottom line, the FO felt that outside of Goff no QB was worth the haul that they could get for trading out of #2. Stick to the plan.

He's played 1.5 games and already hurt. Don't like that. Give me a qb with a big frame.

That and the minor concept that 1.5 games of "WHOA, THE PATS ARE STILL GOOD WITH A BACK-UP?!?!?!" probably shouldn't be enough to cause a team to spend a first-rounder. The Pats have a really good system in place from top to bottom where it seems it's easy for anyone remotely decent to step in and they won't miss a beat, which I don't think any Cleveland fan can say they have at the moment, so while Garrapolo might do really good there, he might turn into Matt Cassel the minute he winds up somewhere else.

Apparently a warrant has been issued to Josh Gordon. Lol It's for a not responding to subpoenas regarding a paternity case for quite some time.

And yet the majority of this forum doesn't think we should trade him...
  • iclfan2
Why the hell is he hanging out with welfare bitches? I assume she had to have some sort of proof of a relationship for him to get subpoenaed? Quit hanging out with poor people, dude.

FACT. I'll say it again...why..when rebuilding...would you hold onto this guy who has shown you ZERO percent chance of making good choices and not getting kicked out of the league? Talent? Yea, he'll be the most talented car salesman within a year. Let us get some picks for him and let it be someone else's mistake.

You've proven time and again to be wrong on almost everything. Calm down lil guy.

Cannot argue with that. Only time I would put up with something like that is if he is the last piece needed to become an elite team. Have to wonder what teams would even be offering though. I could not be much but I think you still unload a guy like that in this situation.

Keep tellin yourself that...but you know this guy is getting kicked out of the league and the Browns are going to be left with a ton of what if's.

I actually don't know that. Radio doesn't seem to think it's a big deal, long as he shows up. Yeah let's trade Gordon for a 6th round pick so your feelz don't get hurt tho!
