Week 7: Browns @ Rams

  • BR1986FB
Might as well get this started...

Will the Browns run "defense" hold Gurley under 200 yards?
  • BRF
Can the Browns once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?

I think the Browns will lose, because they are distracted by Jff.

And you're a dumbass because nowhere in a previous post did I state that's why the Browns were losing. He's an unneeded distraction for the whole team. They're losing because they SUCK.

A press conference is held and the first TWENTY-TWO questions are about your BACKUP QB?

Pettine has better things to do than field those type of dumbass questions. Farmer & Haslam should be ashamed of themselves for throwing him out there to do THEIR dirty work.

Doesn't surprise me that you interpreted it and regurgitated it to your liking.

LOL, I was just fucking around. Settle down their big guy.

I'm just sick of hearing the "Johnny this, Johnny that" bullshit when the guy isn't even good enough, or smart enough, to beat out a 36 year old journeyman. I fell for the Johnny "hype machine" when he was drafted and hoped for better but I don't see this guy being committed to any type of "team" philosophy. Like I said before, if he's Aaron Rodgers, you deal with the headaches but, at this point, I'm not sure he's even "Mr Rogers" as far as his playing ability goes.

Any other coach in the NFL would be playing their number one draft choice except this buffoon masquerading as a head coach. Has absolutely nothing to do with McCown beating out Manziel. You buy into the bullshit...lemmings.

No, he doesn't. He's contractually obligated to attend the press conference. What is asked at that contractually obligated press conference is of absolutely no consequence to football-side of his head coach duties. The content of those questions is going to be based on whatever the writers thing will result in either 1) a better story or 2) more page clicks.

But please, continue to get your panties in a bunch because of an absolutely trivial, mandatory press conference.

    Browns lose by double digits.

Gurley goes for 234 and a td. Browns lose after a fumble late seals the game for the Rams. Footwedge bitches about manzie not playing, BR has new scoop about manziel affect the press and their stories which in turn caused the game to be blowing, iggy is being iggy and tiernan starts a atta boy Johnny post even though he didn't play a single snap.
  • IggyPride00
Is the situation with Jim O'Neil starting to get to the level of Mo Carthon and Romeo where someone in management has to step in because the head coach places his loyalty to his boy over the good of the team?

Listening to the way Pettine talks about that defense and comparing it to reality reveals a level of delusion/denial that needs some type of intervention because he is not seeing what everyone else is.

I hope Jeff Fisher decides to air it out 50 times this week.

    This is our only hope.

I'll make my prediction with 3:00 left in the 4th as so I don't look silly to some.

Smart move because the Browns could lose, win, then lose again within that span.

Well the Browns are playing another shitty offensive line, which means they will make it look like they are playing against 5 all pro linemen.

    This made me laugh:

@Reflog_18: If they are investigating a Browns player for suspected ill-gotten gains, Joe Haden shouldn't be their target... https://t.co/wrUxKhlPyI

Agree with this completely. Foles is ranked 38th out of the QB's, I believe. Their O-Line is starting 3 rookies, which absolutely means nothing after the San Diego game. Their (Browns) only hope is if they can somehow shut down Gurley (monstrous task). Their (Rams) only receiving weapons are Austin & Cook and Austin only has one receiving TD.

Off topic, but someone posted a link (on Facebook) to the second half of the Browns/Patriots playoff game from WAY back. Was nice to watch a winning Browns team with Testaverde, Hoard, Byner, (my boy) Everitt, E-Rock & Company. Pepper Johnson & Turner (RIP) were monsters in that game on defense. Bledsoe was a turnover machine and Matt Stover couldn't hit the broad side of a barn on long FG's. Was odd to sea young Bill Belichick and I threw up in my mouth every time they panned to Modell in the pressbox. Good times....

I've been waiting for you to post about this. Rumor has been out since Sunday, surprised it took you so long to post about it.
