"Paul George Is Singlehandedly Keeping the Pacers Relevant"

And then reality comes in and says "Paul George will never win an NBA championship".
  • sleeper
And neither will James Harden. Reality is tough.

Anthony Davis may never win a championship. Andrew Wiggins might not either. Neither did Karl Malone or Charles Barkley. Lack of a title doesn't necessarily eliminate being ranked in the great category. Nor does winning a title put you in the conversation without other things.

I don't understand why you're addressing what is clearly a troll argument: "you can't be any good unless you win a title"

Instead of getting all haughty and indignant about it: ignore, then post something else that contributes to discussion. Instead you're now just drawing further attention to troll statement. Which I don't understand why you would do, you've been posting here long enough.

Sure, you can establish greatness if other ways. Paul George or Harden will not make the HOF. They will be nothing more than a footnote in NBA history.

Wiggins and Davis its too early to tell. But I'd rather bet on them than old has beens who've never won anything and never will.

The reality is, the Cavs have the best team in the NBA. Yes, GSW is the defending champions but if we are talking all-world beating teams, Cleveland has it, not GSW.
    HAHAHAHAHAHA, thanks for the laugh.

Warriors struggling with the worst team in the league. At home, too.
  • friendfromlowry
Solid last minute for Jarret Jack. Missed a free throw, had an eight second violation, missed potential game winning shot. Nets gonna Nets. Going to overtime.
  • Ironman92
    RW put up a Harden-like 27 on 5/20 shooting

70 assists in the last 5 games for Rondo. I honestly didn't expect him to produce at this level again.
  • gport_tennis
Rondo has been damn near playing entire games too, not sure if he'll be able to handle that type of workload for an extended period of time.

I see THE PLAN in Philly is still working to perfection. 0-10 with a -13+ PPG differential. That'll get them in great position to get a top-of-the-draft spot where they can pick up either a dude with injury problems or a dude they can give up on in two years and trade for a bunch of lower draft picks.

    GOOD JOB SAM HINKLE!!!!!
  • Azubuike24
Yeah, rumor is they are already eying Skal. They desperately need some size.
  • gport_tennis
Hopefully theyll be able to land a stud guard this year so they can start to try and win games. I'm excited to see the euro stud they have coming over next year

About 50/50 whoever they pick, they screw it up.

Dion waiters says he wants to play for his hometown team. So any guard will have to come off the bench.

They could take Kris Dunn and rehash the MCW cycle.

Don't see Dunn being considered that high, but Ben Simmons, Brandon Ingram or Jamal Murray wouldn't be bad selections.

I don't think he's going top 5, I just think it would be funny given the similarities. Big PG, turnover prone, good in the open floor, cant really shoot.

    Weird halftime score

    Spurs 36
    Trial Blazers 28
  • Laley23
Philly needs a PG so badly.

That said, there is no way I don't take Ben Simmons #1 overall. I'm sold after watching him for 2 games lol.

Houston Rockets fire Kevin McHale. It's about time, I've been saying that for a while now dating back to last year
  • Commander of Awesome
He was getting Coach of the Year buzz last season, and had his team as the #2 seed in the west. From my perspective (not following the rockets at all other than lol at Harden's box score [Last 10 games .381 FG% lmao]) seems reactionary to me. But then I remember watching Mr. Potato Head coach the Cavs and he was a COY and an obvious buffoon. Be interesting to see how the Rockets respond and who they get to replace him.
