SportsAndLadyAt a work event, and there's First Take on one of the TV's. Stephen A Smith is STILL on there asking if Lebron will leave lol not this year, but saying "when will he leave?" so now he's moved on to Lebron's next chance to leave Cleveland. I like SaS, but he's just annoying with this Lebron leaving Ceveland talk. WHY THE FUCK WOULD HE LEAVE RIGHT NOW?

His first take show is garbage but I like when he does couple minute appearances on radio shows. He's much better there than when he's on first take asking if Lebron will leave Cleveland when Kyrie can't find his jumper in 2021. -

Agree. When he isn't just going crazy/sleeping random shit, he's not bad. But he sure does love a soap box.SportsAndLady;1801309 wrote:Lol. I'm not anti screamin A.

The damn Indians look pretty formidable. Healthy Brantley and a bullpen piece and they could give it a run.Commander of Awesome;1801322 wrote:Also, every city in America has a longer championship drought that Cleveland right now -
Benny The JetSo what's some predictions roster wise for next year? Is it too soon for like_that to start a new thread?
I'd really like to see McCrae get some run. I think he has the potential to be a weapon offensively. Whose playing time he'd eat into, I have no clue. -

I think Mozgov, D. Jones, and J. Jones will likely be gone. These players don't have much value. Mo Williams might be done as well.Benny The Jet;1801331 wrote:So what's some predictions roster wise for next year? Is it too soon for like_that to start a new thread?

JR Smith is the only one I think the Cavs need to resign. I also think the Cavs should put Shumpert on the market and see if anyone bites(They won't). -

I would not be so quick on Mozgov gone, he eats up a lot of regular season minutes and serves a role when they do play a normal center team. It would make sense that you need a true center to eat up 15-20 minutes in the regular season, that is not Kaun and does not make sense to throw money at that spot for those minutes.sleeper;1801333 wrote:I think Mozgov, D. I'm indifferent towards Mozgov. I think signing him, JR, and Delly puts the Cavs in quite a bind with the luxury tax. Something like one of their contracts would be 3 times as expensive(IE, signing Delly for $6M makes a cap hit of $18M in luxury taxes). I know DG probably doesn't care too much about spending but $18M+ for a reserve guard is a lot of money per year.Sonofanump;1801348 wrote:I would not be so quick on Mozgov gone, he eats up a lot of regular season minutes and serves a role when they do play a normal center team. Same, didn't consider they would be worse off financially by retaining him.sleeper;1801353 wrote:I'm indifferent towards Mozgov. -
sleeperAlso waiting for Lebron to opt out so ESPN can talk about him leaving again.
Lebron is going to opt out and sign another 1+1 deal. He will do the same after next year too. For the 2018-2019 season, then we will see him finally sign a 5 year max contract worth a godlike amount of money. Lebron will play until he is 39 and retire. Book it.
Edit: I may have got the timing wrong above. It looks like if Lebron wants to maximize his deal he signs a max 5 year deal after next season. BTW, that 5-year max deal is projected to be 5years/$205M. So Lebron will retire at 38, not 39. -
friendfromlowryI hope they can bring back Delly but I don't think they will.
