I'll be there but I live in the area. I have a newborn and she won't remember it but the thought of her being able to be in Cleveland during their first championship celebration in half a century is like my first dad moment lol.SportsAndLady;1800057 wrote:Always said I'd be in Cleveland for any chance of them winning a championship. Anyone going to be there?
I'm going to head there Sunday. Thinking of getting tickets at the Q.
Personally I think it would be so cool if they just opened up Progressive Field and let people watch it on the scoreboard! -
MulvaProbably not at the watch party, but I will absolutely be downtown. The atmosphere will be insane.

iclfan2These are the times I miss living in NEO. Wish I could be in Cleveland win or lose just to experience the atmosphere.

Fab4RunnerMy friends and I have watched all three wins at the same bar, so I am super torn on whether we should go there again or go downtown. #wah

Kyrie will go for 30, Love plays better goes 15 and 8.iclfan2;1799805 wrote:I just don't see the Cavs winning this one, but hopefully they can pull it out.

I'll keep it simple with one word: Cavs.Azubuike24;1799819 wrote:Cavs will get it done for sure tonight. Game 7, wide open, but they showed game 5 they aren't worried about going in there and winning under pressure.

sleeperSeries is over. No chance the Warriors win Game 7 with Lebron James and KI playing the way they are. I don't see much changing. Bogut being out is huge for the Cavs(another pat on the back for me) and they lack a true rim protector. Expect TT to continue to dunk over fools with easy alley oops.
The energy on defense has been the difference maker except for Shumpert. I'd rather see Delly in there; anyone but Shumpert really. Also, the 3rd foul on Love was terrible. Curry can bitch and moan all he wants but all 6 of his fouls were fouls; if anyone should complain it's K. Love. -

Curry is lucky he fouled out late in the 4th.sleeper;1800127 wrote:Series is over. No chance the Warriors win Game 7 with Lebron James and KI playing the way they are. I don't see much changing. Lol we are, too. We don't even particularly like the place, but we keep going back.ironman02;1800130 wrote:You better be at that bar! Can you tell I'm superstitious? lol -

He should have fouled out earlier in my opinion. He(and others) gets away with a lot of ticky tack fouls and when you have 5 fouls you can't make the plays he was trying to make in that game.like_that;1800129 wrote:Curry is lucky he fouled out late in the 4th. -

GO to the fucking bar! Everyone needs to do their part. Ohio against the world part 2.Fab4Runner;1800131 wrote:Lol we are, too. We don't even particularly like the place, but we keep going back.
Yeah, that is what I am saying. He should have fouled out very early in the 4th. He got away with a few, and there was one call they gave the foul to AI (or was it green) instead of Curry, which was blatantly on Curry. The refs protected him with 5 fouls. The last foul was an easy call to make.sleeper;1800132 wrote:He should have fouled out earlier in my opinion. Even the last foul, he actually fouled twice in those 3-4 seconds and the first action was actually a greater foul.like_that;1800134 wrote: Yeah, that is what I am saying. He wasn't frustrated about the calls. He's frustrated because the Cavs have figured out how to beat the Warriors. -
AutomatikLost some respect for Kerr. Acted like a proper bitch in the post game presser.
I get it if the game was close and fouls played a part in the outcome, but when you get rekt wire to wire....stfu. -

I think the important take away from the Warriors press conferences is what I call "false confidence". That all were acting like it's no big deal that they lost and they feel good going into Game 7 but it felt very fake to me. I think there are some internal struggles happening right now within the team and for lack of a better phrase "shock and awe" is the best way to describe it. They have no clue how to respond to the energy the Cavs are bringing; Curry and Klay both had good nights but the reserves have completely fallen off(hmm, I recall a certain poster saying this after Games 1 and 2...).Automatik;1800137 wrote:Lost some respect from Kerr. Anyways, Kerr was definitely a bitch in his post game presser. -

I agree ..... probably go with my son -
like_thatI would love to know the media reaction if Lebron threw his mouth piece and his wife claimed the league was rigged. The media tore Lebron apart back in 2009 when he didn't shake hands after losing to Orlando. The coddling of curry continues.

No way nba suspends curry for game 7. The ref has a better chance of being suspended than curry.Ironman92;1800143 wrote:http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs2006/news/story?id=2419766 -
thavoiceCavs fans in the immediate Cleveland area....
As a reminder, Dicks sporting goods usually opens up their locations in the city that wins a major championship to get their gear so you may want to start lining up early to be the first to get your Cavs Championship gear. -
