Pats continually cheat and get away with it

All of these teams bend the rules to get advantages. The patriots just get the most flack because they are successful

And Deadspin is loving it. Loving all of it. I dislike the fact that with the way the Steelers pass defense has been this preseason (WTF? Every warm body on the fucking Bills shredded them), they'll have to face Brady now, but no matter what the incident, anything that makes GODdell look like a fucking tool and knocks him down is something I'll cheer for.

This. I'd have preferred any of the other 31 teams to do this to Goodell over the damn Pats, but any day Goodell is made to look like a clown is a good day.

Boo hoo. They still lost 2 picks it's not like they went totally unpunished.
  • Azubuike24
Wouldn't be surprised if they get the picks comped. I mean, the NFL had no case. If this was Joe No Name vs the NFL, would we even hear about it?

Eagles trade Barkley to the Cards for a 7th round pick.

It's Tebow time in Philly. Once Bradford and Sanchez inevitably get hurt ESPN will finally be able to go back to being all Tebow all the time. Skip Bayless popped a major rod somewhere when this news came out.

Funny how deflategate has been a story for 8 months and everyone's comments reflect the sentiment of the media.

    Not saying just saying

Do you even know what you are trying to say? I feel like you have no idea 90% of the time.
  • rydawg5
I wouldn't say 90%. I could expand on my thoughts to spell out everything but I'm usually typing from an iPhone.

I gathered that he was trying to make a point we're brainwashed by the media because the average post here is aligned with their views ie: Goodell incompetent, good to see him look like a dipshit.

Nice and all, but ignores minor data such as how I (a person likely to be personally burned by the decision when Brady has his usual 37-42, 350yd, 3TD game against the Steelers) have ripped on GODdell for years and a lot of other people here have either shared that view or at least come around to a similar way of thinking with how he's bungled so many things and looked like a fool over the past couple years. But it's amateur psychology and that's always fun to watch in action.

Okay, on a desktop now. One of my pet peeves is listening to "sports guy" at the office, tell me his "opinions" on today's topic. However, he always completely mirrors the same opinion as Cowherd or Mike & Mike. He isn't actually forming an opinion on the subject, he is listening to radio and one is being formed for him. It's not always a bad thing, the talk guys think these things through. But "sports guy" never has an independent thought.I am seeing, on many message boards last night, many people's opinions are mirroring the same opinions of many talk show hosts on deflate gate as of yesterday, not sticking to their thoughts for the last 8 months before the ruling went down. However, this common theme from yesterday which was Gooddell never actually had the power to do this in the first place. This comment wasn't really mentioned by any "sports guy" until yesterday when they were beat over the head with the "official" opinion on deflate gate brought to you by Talk Show Host guy. TL; DR (I like when someone forms their own opinion based on the news portion not the opinion portion, right or wrong, and sticks with it regardless of what media guy says.)

I wouldn't say brainwashed, but I would say we are lazy and let others tell us what to think because we didn't take the time to think about it.

Or the fact we have all been trashing goodells decision making for the last year before the media picked up on it....

By all means though rydawg continue to be passive aggressive and pretend your view is beyond anything we can comprehend.

We can always count on rydawg to provide his superior outside the box logic /sarcasm.

DAMNIT you beat me to it.

I saw Tebow got cut and had to get on here to tell iggy what a dumb fuck he is.

It's funny to think that if someone had the time to go back and repost all of iggy's posts, 90% of them would probably be incorrect.

I have been right about every Browns regime for a decade now. They are all losers. Most of you are just late to the party.

When Farmer and Pettine bomb out this season and get shown the door I am expecting an apology from you and all your minions. Jimmy's cheap ass might wait 2 seasons just because he won't want to pay them to sit at home, but the Browns won't have a winning record for as long as either of those bums are here.

Bengals finally locked up AJ Green. 5 years/70.16M. Slightly higher and more front-loaded than Julio Jones, slightly less guaranteed money overall.

    I couldn't be happier.
