Farmer/Pettine make the Mankok regime look like the second coming of Newsome/Harbaugh.Yeah i was def fapping to veikune and maiava!!! Fuck this team with a great o line and pro bowl talent!!
Give me Jake FAILhomme, Robo, and Montario Hurtesy!
/sarcasm
Some of you just refuse to grasp how inept those 2 really are. They might be the worst GM and head coach in the league, and the fact they are on the same team is freaking frightening. -

The ship is sinking, and I would rather it sink with him than watch Hoyer for another year. I can't take that again.BR1986FB;1699785 wrote:And Johnny isn't that QB either.
Jimmy is the real problem. I think he knows Farmer/Pettine are bums at this point, but he can't fire them because of last year. So we have to wait another year until they fail again so we can start over for the hundredth time. -

Johnny claimed that he was going to turn his life around, but there have been pictures of him partying in Miami, Houston, and Aspen since he made that statement a few weeks ago.IggyPride00;1699900 wrote:The ship is sinking, and I would rather it sink with him than watch Hoyer for another year. I've said before, I think he kind of thought it would be a breeze to be an NFL QB. He lost the job to Hoyer in TC, took his foot off the gas/coasted once he knew he wasn't going to be the starter, then went into "oh shit, I'd better get ready to be an NFL QB/cram mode" when he was named the starter and failed miserably.Al Bundy;1699983 wrote:Johnny claimed that he was going to turn his life around, but there have been pictures of him partying in Miami, Houston, and Aspen since he made that statement a few weeks ago.
I think he has the talent and the brain to be a decent QB. Just don't think he has the committment or wants it bad enough. I don't think he'll ever put in the time to be legit. Love to be wrong but I doubt it. -
se-alumBy all accounts he never went into "oh shit" mode. Kids an alcoholic with no work ethic.

IggyPride00Nice to see Jimmy bend the fan base over and give it to them hard on the season ticket renewal prices.
Guy is the slimiest business man I have ever seen.
Borrowed all the money to buy the team, sells off the naming rights to everything not nailed down, jacks up the price of the tickets, sits on huge amounts of cap space rather than putting it into the team, and still puts a shitty product on the field.
Who could have ever seen that one coming. -
IggyHater00Farmer/Pettine might as well quit now.
Jimmy had to jam through the huge increases now because he knows this is a 4-12/5-11 team next season and it would be harder to justify a double digit price increase.
What is scary though is what ticket prices will probably look like if this team ever does start winning.
Jimmy thought a 7-9 season was so successful it warranted increases of 25-85% for most of the season ticket holders. Win a playoff game and the sky will be the limit. -
BR1986FBWith the hiring of Joker Phillips as the new WR coach, the Browns now have the "Joker", the "smoker/midnight toker" (Josh Gordon) and after this years coming 5-11 season, when Pettine/Farmer get canned, I'm sure they will "take the money and run."

SEVEN YEARS.
They have one of, if not the, lowest tix in the NFL.
With things on the up and up I dont see a problem with it. -

IggyPride00A complete embarrassment.
Not a single thing that has come out surprises me, because I have known how in over their head this entire regime is since the minute they arrived.
Haslam should have cleaned house already, but these reports just confirm for the masses what I have known all along. -
IggyPride00Haslam is the biggest joke in the history of Cleveland sports.
We basically now have the NFL version of Frank McCourt.
Last year sells the Stadium naming rights for 9 figures and we were still at or near the top of the league in available cap space.
This year 7-9 was seen as so successful that ticket prices went up significantly so Jimmy can line his pockets.
Today, he basically told the beat writers we won't be active in free agency despite having more cap room than we know what to do with.
This guy flat out refuses to put money into this football team and it is embarrassing. He was supposed to be a deep pocket owner, at least that is what he was billed as.
The real story is more that he leveraged his company to the hilt to borrow almost all of the money to buy the team and really had no business buying it.
Now he is treating it as nothing but a big ATM that spits out cash and does the bare minimum when it comes to spending.
He's a freaking con artist and I wish the government had nailed his ass to the wall because we aren't winning shit with him.
Today's gathering with reporters was his way of saying you had best prepare for the 4-12/3-13 campaign that's coming because he has no real intention of improving the roster if it means having to spend. -

Since 2002 when they won 9 games, they had exactly 1 season as good or better than that did in 2014. ONE. This was the best record since 2007 when they won 10.IggyPride00;1705146 wrote:Haslam is the biggest joke in the history of Cleveland sports.

and he did it with a team that didnt have one of the most dynamic WR's in the game, and a very average QB. If the center doesnt get hurt....very well is 9-10 wins and then who knows! -
IggyPride00Pettine/Farmer and this entire regime are a complete embarrassment.
If Pettine had gotten off his knees a little more often last season instead of servicing Hoyer he might not find himself in this predicament.
The sooner we go 4-12 this year the better because it means we can finally rid ourselves of these clowns and bring in some grown ups to clean up this mess. -
TiernanDon't count on a totally lost season Iggy...I'm sure that new logo will motivate the entire team to new heights. Whatever Mod erased my Lipstick on a Pig thread can GFY.
-
FootwedgeThe people who should be fined and shit canned are the assholes that had their frickin cell phones on them during the damn game. What's that all about?
-
IggyPride00
Saw this on the OBR as the possible inspiration behind a block C logo for the Browns.
It would certainly explain alot. -
TiernanThe tiny little "brownie" logo is perfect as is, don't fix what ain't broke Iggy. After all it's the exact same size as your Drunk Partyboy QB.

IggyPride00The Tennessean is reporting that Farmer is looking into Mettenberger as a Qb option.
Can we just can this guy already? This piece of shit is in so far over his head it is ridiculous.
He doesn't have a freaking clue about putting together a football team, and his backwards ideas have already crippled the franchise.
How much longer is Haslam going to allow this incompetence to go on? I have had it. -

Someone needs to educate many of the self proclaimed Browns fans on this board and I am the only one apparently willing to do it.friendfromlowry;1706946 wrote:What it's like basically talking to yourself on a message board? Is it like a diary for you?
That thread is totally dead right now and I am the only one bringing knew information to the table about just how dire the circumstances really are in this city.
I take the refusal of others to post in my thread as a badge of honor.
The LHS's of the world are still a little butt hurt from all the toilet swirlys they got as a kid in school so now they have tried to turn the internet into a real life Mean Girls against posters like myself to feel good about themselves and I can only pity them.
I will keep bringing the much needed knowledge to the masses as long as I feel they are undereducated about the true state of the Browns. -
IggyPride00Reading about how Rapeis Winston is the second coming of Peyton Manning shows just how wildly backwards this organization is.
We should have been playing Johnny all year but Pettine just insisted on fellating Hoyer at every turn.
If Johnny was that terrible over the course of a year and never improved we would know by now and been in position to take Rapeis because our record would have sucked.
Instead we won a bunch of meaningless games with a QB everyone knew was just a placeholder and now we don't know what we have with Johnny and aren't in position to take the QB everyone is raving about.
I hope Pettine enjoyed those wins with his butt boy because when he is out of a job next year we will all be able to point to that as the reason.
